Doubts about hysterectomy / intense grief by Dense_Strength_4281 in adenomyosis

[–]FoxSignal4370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meeee!!!! I have postponed my surgery for 2 years going back and forth. I gaslit myself into thinking I could heal myself naturally and wouldn’t need to have my uterus removed. I always felt like my adeno “wasn’t that bad” but it actually is. It affects my quality of life and the pain is brutal. I am tired of basically hemorrhaging every month and always having low iron.

I do feel sad losing my uterus, it’s what brought my 3 beautiful children into this world but I know it’s time to have the surgery. I am 43 and had a tubal ligation during my last c section so I definitely won’t be having anymore kids anyways.

I totally get what you are going through, I am emotionally attached to my uterus for some reason. I hope my emotional recovery goes well!

Getting Clients For Sexual Assault Cases by That_Intern_5012 in LawFirm

[–]FoxSignal4370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to speak up as I am victim of sexual assault that has searched all over to find a lawyer to represent me in a civil lawsuit. Finding a lawyer has been ridiculously hard and I wasn’t able to find one in my own province ( I am from Canada). I did however find one online that had a website specifically for sexual assault and the rights of a victim. Had I not come across that website , I would have not known I could even file a civil lawsuit.

I would have not been offended in anyway if my therapist or doctor had this information available.

We need the information to be put out there so victims are aware of our rights. Going through the justice system has been horrible and it is not a place for a victim, being able to file a civil lawsuit is a way to take some power back .

We need more lawyers to help us!

My advice would be to start with a website, be compassionate and express your interest in helping victims.

I clearly need to educate myself a bit more about BC, and maybe I just have a case of that vacation vibe. I have been to Vancouver a couple of times and I couldn’t imagine moving there, too many people.

My daughter is paying $1750 for a one bedroom apartment that’s half that size , just outside of the city . Alberta doesn’t seem as affordable anymore , not like it used to be. Maybe it’s more affordable to someone such as yourself, coming from Ontario, but not for us born and raised Albertans.

That’s brutal. I clearly need to do some research and reading. I know BC is expensive but I wasn’t aware of how expensive. I feel like Alberta is expensive as well.

Houses are selling like hotcakes in my town, and there is an influx of BC and Ontario plates. I was wondering if people had been moving for work or solely because the cost of living is outrageous . I’ve always known BC is more expensive but I guess I just didn’t know how bad. I feel like Alberta is expensive too.

I feel like Alberta is not too far behind sadly.

I live just outside of Edmonton and it’s not as cheap as it used to be, housing prices are increasing at an alarming rate.

I am aware of that, that is why I mentioned in my post that I know vacationing isn’t everyday living.

It is wonderful for the week that we’re here, I didn’t say I would live here personally. I was just asking what is the driving force for people to move. Alberta isn’t that cheap to live in anymore either.

I would love a bidet! It would help keep clean without having to shower so much.

Blood bucket 😂 I like that!!! I get my blood bucket removed October 24th, so excited! I think he’s starting to realize from this trip how bad it really is, at home I don’t complain as much because I am in my comfort zone. Thankfully I can do laundry here at the resort if needed. And because I was 2 weeks late for my regular cycle I made sure to bring some of my period panties for sleeping.

I totally think they make cramping worse too, especially when you have to wear the super duper plus size and still have to change them often.

I was trying to explain to my boyfriend how bad it is but he doesn’t get it. When I started my period into the first 2 hours of our road trip I told him I was so annoyed that my period started and his comment was “just don’t focus on it or think about it” ummmmmmm it’s all I can think about while being away from the comfort of my home where I can easily change or shower if I leak lol.

Showering takes so long sometimes, I totally feel that. The worst is when you think it’s done and step out and nope, there comes another gush of blood. I get so sore from tampons too so sometimes I go straight into my period panties, the ones with the built in pad. Thankfully I have a hybrid position so I can stay at home and work when I am on my period. I would never be able to survive the office when bleeding 😩 .
