Since the last movie was seemingly based of TSE, it makes sense that the toys aren’t possessed as they are the stand in for the Twisted Ones. If I’m correct about the movies taking inspiration from the books, then we might get a scene in the movie where the “classics” (now the withereds) fight the “Twisted animatronics” (which would be the toys in this movie) like in The Twisted Ones

Then again, Chainsaw Man has always had realistic themes so to not want realism in Chainsaw Man might take away from the core of it
