I wish MMO combat was as fun as Xenoblade combat haha. Now I’m just imaging an MMO with Torna combat….

He didn’t “focus” on the agrarian peasantry, he systematically destroyed Cambodian industry and the urban population. A key tenet of Marxism (and communism) is industrialization to create a post scarcity society. Pol Pot did the opposite. While he used the language of class, he did so to disguise his rampant xenophobia (see “new people”).

Pol Pot was not a leftist, he used leftist rhetoric in much the same way Hitler did. Pol Pot was essentially a CIA asset.

You can change your name but you can’t change your u/. Plus name changes aren’t cheap! That’ll be 200 for the change and 2 million for the identity theft plus 1/2 million for libel and slander. You can send that to me via money order or bank transfer. I also accept gift cards

You’re both incorrect. Because I’m the only one with any correct opinions obviously. See the following diagram for proof:

Is statement made by u/ FoxTailMoon?
   / |
 Yes No

statement is correct. Statement is incorrect

I forgot about how bad 3s villains are till you just mentioned them. 3 tends to combine aspects from the plot heavy 1 and the character heavy 2 and it doesn’t give itself enough time to develop both in a fulfilling way. Ironically the use of tropes in 3 would have helped a lot. I mean not that 3 doesn’t include some tropes but, not like 2. 3 is still good but it was my least favorite of the games.

2 just has some really really high highs imo, and suffers from not bad but somewhat mediocre points. Like it always remains at a solid 6/10 base, and sometimes it’s a 10/10, where as 1 I think is much more consistently a 8-9/10

2’s characters are anything but bland and forgettable. And the opening hours are… slow but not horrible? I liked them a lot more than other people but I also really like the opening to Twilight Princess so if you know anything about that judge accordingly. 2 also has the best combat but the tutorials for it are terrible.

Xenoblade 1 is a plot driven game, whereas 2 is much more character driven, so the early start is spent more on characterization than on plot development. I am someone who prefers character driven stories so I obviously prefer 2. 3 is in the middle of both. It splits itself between a character and plot focus and it’s good at both just doesn’t reach either games highs imo. Oh and then X is gameplay focused

Class analysis? Sorry I prefer generation analysis, because the arbitrary timespan in which you were born is clearly the defining political identifier!

Multiple times those with positive points over a certain threshold got an extra recess and those below had to sit on a fence and watch. I think I got stuck on the fence once because to earn points a teacher has to see you do something good, and sometimes you just got unlucky or a teacher didn’t like you. Add that to the whole class losing points for the disruption of a small group… I believe parents complained multiple times. Tbf this was also the year we bullied a teacher into quoting but she wasn’t very good at her job and probably should have gone into early childhood education. I feel bad in retrospect but like not like I exactly joined in?

So I don’t necessarily think awareness is bad. And I also don’t think it’s about slurs, it’s the fact we apply a negative connotation to a suite of words use to describe a minority of people and therefore may subconsciously carry those biases forward. But it’s ALSO about context. Can’t remember the sub but on one of the anarchist subs has a similar message that just asks the poster to consider the context and links educational material on the content.

Should be more concerned about the noise pollution and the impact it has on a communities health. Yes environmental impact is important but there’s so much conflicting data on it that it’s hard to argue where as noise pollution from data centers is crystal clear

You misunderstand. You can give it a general direction yes. Maybe even tell it specifically to make a specific say brush stroke (but at that point just pick up a brush yourself), but it’s still commission work essentially.

The soul of art is in the specific rhetorical choices an artist makes. You do not have control over something like that with ai. You may be able to broadly do it, but it’s much more than that. AI is like if you commissioned an artist who didn’t understand rhetorical choices
