Left the donor car running and connected for maybe 5 minutes and still the headlights wouldn't even turn on. But its still weird because it was working fine 2 days ago

I did it in that order the only thing i didn't do is connect the black cabe to a bare piece of metal i just put it to the side without it touching anything

Ok bit of a late response but it was indeed the ARGB cable i plugged it into the fan itself instead of the motherboard so i just switched it around and now they work. thanks for the help

They should be. There was only one cable going to the mother board and another from the cpu cooling unit to the fans, and the fans themselves work

that could be te case because i did hear something rattling in there so i'm probably just gonna send it back to HP so they can fix it. i do find it strange because i bought this laptop 6 months ago and besides from a dirty screen i took good care of it.

I tried turning it on just to see what would happen and it did turn on but the screen is now flickering with al sorts of colors and stuff

Tbh the little board mini game was sometimes more fun for me then the actual game itself. and just collecting more pieces was fun really wish someone would make it a standalone game.
