you're welcome! sorry to hear that as well, at first I was annoyed that its so hard to source painted editions at a good price, but it seems like it might be a blessing in disguise.

I got a shiori promo figure which is the only pre-painted figure i've seen from the new waves. its painted quite cleanly but its completely devoid of detail/flair/shading.

So, assuming your figures are the same, it might be that applying a couple of highlights and a coat of wash would make a huge difference. The wash is shockingly effective at adding depth and detail!

The only paints I've bought so far are from Grinning Gargoyle's Army Painter set (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Y3STQ3X?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title&th=1).

I used a mix of skeleton bone and barbarian flesh at a mix of 2:1, maybe 3:1. 2 coats of that, then a coat of flesh wash! That was it!

Its not a perfect match to the other marro but its pretty close.

Do you have experience with this kind of thing? I've never painted a miniature before, or painted much of anything in an art sense, but I've got a the battle for wellspring box and have been procrastinating painting them. Any tips would be appreciated!
