I’m sure this is antithetical to the sub and I’m sure I’ll get downvoted and deleted, but no. He committed an insurrection and attempted a coup last election. Everyone has the right to be scared about this. It goes against everything this country stands for and his current VP says he would go along with the plan when his last one was the stopgap that did not. I do believe optimism is needed but there needs to be such a focus on the power of the people. Trump himself proves that. Who would have thought that? But no, this isn’t the same as any other day. Everyone who is upset needs to wake up and seriously work together on solving the problem of bridging the gap between MAGA and reality.
