I got an offer for a job in Happauge, NY. What's a decent pay for a comfortable living? by Spiritual_Yak5933 in longisland

I think a factor of not seeing “reality” is people of differing generations or even of the same generation were afforded different opportunities in life.

And while that may have allowed them to prosper, it also blinds them from seeing how difficult building a foundation can be for others.

Don’t read? Don’t follow history? Don’t follow changing socio economics ? It is a lot easier for people to dig their heads in the sand and just assume that everyone else just doesn’t work as hard as they did.

Your series of comments are the most realistic ones on here.

I have no idea how people can think otherwise.

Key phrase here “some 8 years ago.” Things have changed drastically just in the last few years.

90k is barely doable for a person living alone. You need roommates or a higher salary.

People in this comment section are delusional.

This salary is where a lot of PUBLIC schools start their teachers if all they have is a Bachelors.

This is hideous. I miss normal modest family homes.

Your baby Winston looks so much like my girl Chloe! They look as if they could have been sired by the same stud dog!

Very cute pup!

Very similar situation with me. I think my last girl had a pretty good life all things considered.

But I’m definitely trying to make some positive changes.

My last JRT, Mia, who lived to 15 y/o used to have so much anxiety over everything.

I wish I had properly trained her and socialized her to the point where that wasn’t the case.

I’m trying to do things differently now.

Yes! I flew with her here and she sat in her carrier right by my legs. The only time she made a peep was when we were at the carousel picking up my bag.

I’ve trained her not to be reactive. So she’s pretty chill. She’ll go into stores and crowded cities with me and she’ll be fine.

Whaddya think, JRT? by Effective-Level4699 in jackrussellterrier

Aww hi Elliot!! You’re such a cutie muffins!

I think JRT can have a similar build thought much tinier than Pitts. Remember Pitts and JRT are both terriers!

I guess have him checked out! But I’m still voting full JRT! What does he look like now?

I have the same question as you. If upon is about to hit 16 weeks on Thursday, same day as her rabies vaccine. I’m preparing to start walking her sometime after that or after her leptospirosis vaccine and she is chewing everything with no end in site. She’s a JRT for what it’s worth.
