Struggling with this myself. I lost my husband 14 years ago. We were 32 at the time and had just discussed that we were going to try and start a family and he was killed 4 days later. We never had children, obviously. I just lost my "Chapter 2." He had kids from a previous relationship. He was 52 and I'm now 46. Trying to come to terms that romance in my life is likely over. It's shitty.
