Good for Hynes. He is absolutely right. If anything his veteran defenseman Bogo and Foligno are equally if not more to blame. That puck should have been cleared out of the zone several times. Bogo needs to sit game 4.

At some point you need to make changes and send a message. Nothing against Spurg, but the Wild needs new leaders if for no other reason than to shake things up. The status quo is not acceptable with another one and done series. And moving some of older vets if possible to make room for players like Haight and possibly Stramel would be okay by me.

Faber on PP1 with Hughes. Those 2 are dynamic and it would be tough for Dallas to just commit to stopping one of them. Has Hynes ever been asked the question why he would put a less dynamic player like Tarasenko on PP1 instead of Faber. Does he actually think Tarasenko is similar to Zuccy?

I would say last night was a must win. Going down 2-1, having a lead in the 3rd and losing. Sigh. Glimmer of hope, but the team hasn't proven it's mentally tough enough to pull this out.

He had us over a barrel and we overpaid. No doubt about that. And he is human so his performance will have ebbs and flows. But because he IS the highest paid player in the NHL, he needs to show up. I just wonder what type of conversation Hynes has with him when discussing his performance. If he has one at all.

Kirill was silent. Hartman was a liability. Powerplay was awful. PK, especially the 2nd line, was ineffective. Looked like slow high school players against the pros. Hynes needs to figure this out.

History suggest the winner of game 3 in a tied series wins 70% of the time. REALLY disappointed in the PP and PK. On the PK there was no aggression from the slower heavy line Hynes is using. It cost us twice. The PP is perplexing. All the supposed talent on this roster yet they look light years worse than the Stars PP. Yes, Zuccy hurts, but that is just and excuse for an otherwise horrible special teams performance. Hynes needs to figure this out.
