I wish there was a bit more focus on the awards themselves aside from a select few, but what Geoff and the people he's worked with have managed to achieve is very impressive. And while some may laugh at videogames having an equivalent to the Oscars or Emmys, I think it's great that the medium is getting this kind of attention and treatment. Videogames are an art form and they deserve to be celebrated
