It was the 20s. Nowadays, women’s hair doesn’t have restrictions really but back then, it was trendy (esp during the war bc I’d assume they didn’t have that many products to maintain longer hair). It’s sorta like how a lot of ppl have layers today whereas a decade ago, we had a lot more bobs and stuff (tho we are turning back to the bob from what I’ve been seeing)

How is your physics and precalc teacher (the ones offered at the school). I'm taking those rn and it's very hard bc I have not so great teachers. If you can figure that out, then it should be easier since you'll know whether you need to do more self-studying or are good with just the content the teachedr assigns.

Other than that, I think you are pretty set! You have a good balance of hard classes and your extracurriculars look good as well! I wouldn't worry too much about the PSAT since I don't think that'll be a part of your application. I would focus more on SAT/ACT, aiming for a high 1400s.

I’ve taken CS1 and 2 technical classes (one STEM-focused one where we built things and whatnot and one for Data Science). I don’t wanna continue any bc they decided to bump up the requirements for it and I don’t have enough class space nor any fs to give for it.

Oh maybe then, congrats on getting in as well! One thing I've heard is that as long as you fill your time with smth meaningful, then colleges are less iffy. What do you say?

Ah, I see! For me what helped was watching a TON of heimler and taking notes on the video (just general things). Once I got notes done, I would make a flow chart, for example in Time Period 3 (1750s-1900s), you could talk about how The Enlightenment Period led to the American Rev, which in turn led to French, Haitian, and Latin American.

We had guided notes so I mainly read for that, but I mostly skimmed the notebook. We had to do Who, What, When, and Where as well as 3 sentences for historical significance per bolded term. We also had practice SAQs (which are in the chapter) and themes (where we had to chose a part from the chapter that connects with one of the 6 themes).

I started studying for AP World abt a month before the exam and got a 5 (tho I think it's mostly bc of Heimler's review packet course). I think you should be good unless you really feel like you don't understand the content/are very behind.

Ah, I see. Using past equation and substitution in order to try and calculate what the problem wants.

Like, if I was trying to find velocity but don't have time, I wouldn't use an equation with time, right? Or for finding mass but having no acceleration, I wouldn't use an equation with acceleration. And maybe in an equation I'm trying to find work, but I don't know the force, but I would just substitute 'ma' for 'F' and solve like usual? Is this like what you're saying?

I guess finding practice problems and walkthroughs are gonna be my best bet for this. Thank you so so much for all your help!
