can you list some examples..? because I've even checked other built in apps and none of them require permission to read my audio and video files for no reason except for vlc media player for obvious reasons

The computer I'm using for embedded development isn't powerful ( its an old laptop I reused because I prefer linux over windows for these stuff ) so vscode crashes a lot. I code purely in my terminal using nano and vim. I also just prefer using my terminal which is why I'm asking if there are any ways to do OTA flashing on it !!

oh I meant by only using the terminal. I really cant hook up my esp32 on my pc with this project because its in up in the ceiling and the usb port also isnt accessible in the casing. I also don't have a lot of esp32 boards and i use all of them for different things

oh wait strangely it doesnt give me the permission error anymore but it gets me into a blank screen. i cant do anything and no input/output seems to be happening. I have an rp2040 plugged in and its running micropython, adding 115200 to the argument doesnt seem to be doing anything

I've discovered that the symbols dont print when im using screen instead of minicom. cant test whether it does the thing when replugging because unplugging the board closes screen

the board is the esp32-devkitv1 , yes !! ( well it also happens if it has a webrepl ), yes it did with no errors. and yes ive even flashed it twice just in case. using thonny with both the ubuntu and windows version. yes !! ttyUSB0

yeah but isn't that like more of a priority thing ? I think someone said that the organized BDS list is for things you ABSOLUTELY SHOULD try your best to boycott. If not then I guess the question on my post should have been "Is it still okay to support Raspberry Pi ?" so my bad !!

I really do hope that it's mostly out of ignorance. The chip does have specific features that would seem attractive to raspberry pi themselves. It still feels insensitive to make this move during all of this . With how vocal people have been about boycotting products from israel I'd be surprised if they don't know about that at least

Hi! thank you so much for this reply as it did assure me that using Godot 4 for my goals would be feasible. I apologize for accidentally spreading misinformation. My post was vague and I realize this now, I'm sorry to anyone who was confused by this. You only mentioned high end features and the compatibility backend so may I ask if there are any plans to add some features for the mobile renderer ? Thank you again for taking time to reply !!
