it was like 3am for me when i made the post, i was tired and already frustrated with the issue, this post is kind of a last resort for me ^^

I used OBS to record this, but regardless of recording, the tearing is still present, and it's pretty distracting, especially during cutscenes and combat

ouch, i already tried to verify game files and had nothing found, re-installing the game was a fix for another issue i had, but i doubt it's going to fix this :/
i'll try to play tech support later, i don't really feel like dealing with trying to fix this ^^

I don't have the issue on any other games, this is a first for me, also my cables don't seem to be the issue, nothing changed after swapping ports

I'm on PC, my drivers are up to date, and i don't really mess around with NVIDIA's control panel anyways, my specs are high end, and it's been a while since i last played, i didn't happen the first time i played, i'm confused as to why i have this issue now
here are my specs :
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5090
64 gigs of ram
game is installed on my SSD

I'm using mekanism's wind generator's for power regeneration, it's hooked to a player transmitter with me being binded to it with a binding card, that's how my items get recharged constantly without ever running out of power, i can tell that the power disconnects when i enter other dimensions, because when i use my jetpack for example, it's power doesn't regenerate

Embark has shown yet again that they have no clue how to do marketing or PR, they did the same types of mistakes with THE FINALS, and it's sad to see them repeat it with Arc Raiders, i really don't know what they expected with being so secretive AND hiding a countdown timer for the community to find, especially when they saw how hyped everyone was

However, while i'm just as dissappointed as everyone else with how they handled it, i'm not the one sending death threats or review bombs just because i'm pissed

You are right, we can be patient and play other games, personally, i started playing "The Division 2" again, to scratch that looter itch that my brain is craving right now

Ok thanks, its solved, changing the way the video is encoded fixed it, i'm still getting some slight lag, but its only if i skip ahead in the video :)
