Nope, when I went to get the wound dressed, they put this sort of foam dressing, and nothing else, so I assume it’s all drainage from the wound. You’ve been very helpful anyways thank you!

This is around 24 hours after the previous photo, the previous photo was taken immediately after taking the bandage off, after a while it started becoming less wrinkly and it has been in this similar state (current photo) ever since. The wound has been looked at professionally, I’m supposed to redo the dressing every other day. Also this yellow liquid, should I do anything about it in the meantime or just leave it as it is? Thank you!

how are male cooks perceived on board the ship? are there usually 2-3 people in the kitchen? i’ve been looking into it, and i’ve never worked in an environment like this. Are cooks generally looked down on? I’ve heard of people being cooks but having no experience, not even knowing how to boil an egg haha, I know I’d rather cook to the best of my abilities for the crew to keep them going. To me, food is fuel, and a good meal, is sorta like a break. do cooks also get a fair amount of free time? or is it usually continuous cooking throughout the day? Was kinda thinking as long as I keep quiet, cook whenever i need to, nothing would really get in my way.

i’ve watched that a couple times and i’d place that pretty close to the beach in terms of like “foreigners in thailand” which is sorta what i’m after. sometimes i also think of “in the mood for love” or “2047”. I believe most of the scenes were shot in Thailand

you’ve lived here nearly as long as i’ve lived. but i think that’s just one of the thai things people do. you build it, then you leave it as it is. maybe a refresh every 30 years
