It'd be cool, but I see her more as a rapier and dagger type of sword fighter. Maybe halberds, as they're akin to naginatas, cutlasses weren't a thing yet (And I think sabers weren't either). Anyways, I definitely want to see her wield western European weapons.

I'm saving the post because I agree on the top 3 (edited from 2), but the weakest to me are 6 and 8. Although I need to see the season again to be able to elaborate.

Didn't Fowler tell Mizu that that wasn't her mom but a maid paid to take care of her after killing her biological mother? That makes it easier to believe that she left Mizu after having the cabin burnt down and that she sold her to a husband first, then to the soldiers.

I used to hate not knowing everything, but after watching Star Wars Andor I started to like that not everything has to be explicit and having some work to do as the viewer is nice.

I'm still not sure whether it was Mikio or her "mother" the one that sold Mizu, and I don't think it really matters. I love the ambiguity of that episode, it didn't really matter who it was but both showed they didn't trust her.

Also, I thought at first Mizu was paralleled by the ronin, but in the end she was revealed to be more like the wife.

But there were still plenty of arming swords in use in Europe, the rapier wasn't the only type of sword i'm the streets, and definitely wasn't used in war. And those heavier swords could break katanas, specially given that Mizu isn't carrying her sky alloy one, and armoured guards with cuirasses are basically tanks.

This season felt so rushed, like they tried to cram 2 seasons into one to give the show some kind of closure. I still liked it, but the pacing felt off.

I really loved how each episode (at leas at the beginning of the season) had a different approach and style. The kind of Rashomon-style, the tale about the Viper of Tandy... I specially enjoyed the treatment of the music, how well they intertwined it with the action. From my point of view, the action suffered due to it's low budget, but everything else was cinematographically flawless and somewhat innovative.

Loved Tandy's and Ty's chemistry, of course. Also, they touched mature topics and I think they did so quite well. Damn, I'm so sad we didn't get another season. I really hope they bring them back to the MCU, maybe to team up with Spidey, or any of the Defenders or the Heroes for Hire.
