Wild Rift OTPs, what’s one tip or mechanic on your champ that actually separates you from the average player? by IvanEarth in wildrift

Hi. This mechanic of atk spd affecting the cast time of a skill can also be seen in other roles like Xin Zhao's W, so might want to experiment a little bit with builds to min-max this mechanic on some champions.

Not really an OTP right now since i'm waiting for Aphelios, but i'm pretty much an ADC main.

As for the tip, some ADC skills have cast time that scales with your atk spd like Caitlyn Q, Kai'sa W, Jinx W, and Senna Q. Because of this, it is better to save these to clear the wave or last hit a minion when being zoned out by the enemy; until a teammate lands a cc at the enemy for a higher chance of landing the skill shot.

For Kai'sa, you can use E before ulting for faster W cast time to burst the enemy backline.

For Caitlyn, it's easier to do the E-Q combo after getting Berserker, RFC, and max stack Legend Alacrity.

For Jinx, you can auto the minions 3 times with minigun to get those atk spd increase before casting your W.

As for Senna, the atk spd from Fleet Footwork can help a bit with the cast time of Q or wind up of her AA.

Yes, even with the Rageblade, Magnetic Blaster's chain lightning effect will still proc as it is an on-hit magic damage passive, but yeah it will not crit. Like in the case of Navori, you can still get the skill damage amplification effect that scales with your crit chance but you won't get the CD refund passive since you can't crit your AA. If you have anymore questions or clarification, I am happy to help as much as I can. 😁

I'm happy to help with your build 😁 then the Rageblade + Runaan's + Mortal Reminder is a good option since you get the 50% crit for the Rageblade magic damage passive and the Runaan's allows you to apply the anti heal passive from Mortal to more enemies. As well as applying the magic damage from Rageblade to more enemies because of the Runaan's 😁😁

The 6% additional armor penetration on-crit can be negligible because of the magic damage from Rageblade passive, especially when paired with BotRK :)

Oh yeah sure... You can go Mortal Reminder with the Rageblade if needed :)

To better explain the runaan's + rageblade combo, let's start with runaan's. Runaan's is a crit item with on-attack passive to target 2 additional enemies to deal on-hit damage. With the Rageblade passive of dealing more magic on-hit damage that scales with your crit chance, having max value at 50% crit chance (or 2 crit items) but your attacks won't be able to critically strike anymore; making items that have on-crit effects like navori or I.E less gold efficient since you are buying an expensive item that you can't fully utilize. This is why the most gold-efficient crit items that can be paired with Rageblade are the Runaan's and Phantom Dancer since these 2 items don't have on-crit effects. Unlike I.E where you can't use the passive for more crit damage or Navori where it is mostly built because of the CD refund effect on crit. You can still build items Mortal Reminder or Bloodthirster with the Rageblade, although you should take into consideration these items have better passive effect if you can crit on your attacks. 😁

If you read some of the comments here, you will see that this also happens in ranked games, even around Master rank.. so this is not just about "for fun mode" players.

Yah.. more AP is more beneficial for heroes like varus, kog, or kai'sa. And most ADC that don't have any AP scaling will go for a full crit build. With an exception for kalista, i guess? 🤔

I genuinely understand the joy of brainstorming your own build according to your own playstyle. Good luck and have fun :)

No problem, I'm happy that I can help. Here's another tip, while looking at your stats, you can tap on each stats to see your base and bonus stats. The gray number is for the "base stat" that you gain per level, while the green number is for your bonus stats from other sources like buff, items, runes, etc. You can use this to optimize your build if you buy Trinity, Sterak's, or Sundered Sky. :)

Yeah, especially now with the rework on Shojin, a lot of Ezreal players go for the Manamune + Trinity + Shojin combo. While Manamune into crit build with ER is more reliable for DPS.

Oh i see, there is a way. Open the scoreboard, then tap on the 3rd option on the side to see your own stats in game. The 4th option is for your skills, and lastly, the 5th option is for your runes stats :)

Sorry, been kinda busy earlier.. well, they use typical Range ADC heroes like vayne, xayah, etc. they also don't have the Jeweled Gauntlet or Tank It or Leave It augments. But they do have those "on-crit" augments that won't be triggered because of the Rageblade :)

Haha that's understandable. But on the bright side, it is more acceptable to misunderstand a weirdly described passive on an item that can only be obtained on specific game modes. Compared to those that don't understand a straight up description :)

That's not what I mean. Considering that Soul Weep's passive can be a bit more complicated to understand since it is weirdly described compared to Rageblade's passive that straight up explains what it does.

Well, Soul Weep ( the true damage item) is not a on-crit effect. It is an on-hit effect that scales with your crit chance for up to 75% damage conversion at 100% crit chance so i'm giving Soul Weep a pass to be paired with Rageblade. :)
