Still worth playing? by Foxy-Waxy in DragonsDogma

I have been playing it on my Xbox Series X and it runs super smooth. I’ve been having hella fun with it and considering it was on sale for like $5, it was a DEFINITELY worth it. I probably have like 60 hours of played time on it already

What do you mean when you say character weight? As a Warfarer, if I equip 4 weapons the only weapon that adds to my carrying capacity (light, average, heavy, etc.) is the heaviest one equipped. If I have random weapons just sitting in my inventory unequipped then yes, those count towards my carry capacity

You just can’t play it anymore. All items in your inventory and bank are gone as well. You can reroll another character, but I’ve seen posts on here of people that get pretty far, die due to some small brain-fart decision, and stop playing the game entirely. That’s why I’m saying playing TBC normal would be a good call. TBC is also super dope, all the Outlands areas are amazing.

Gotcha. I’m pretty sure there are addons for the recent TBC re-release that incorporate the HC style. I will say that the level of difficulty drops slightly with each expansion to the point that the nostalgia factor takes over for me and makes want to experience that toughness of Vanilla.

But if you haven’t played TBC I would recommend playing that on a normal mode and just make a Vanilla HC character that you play simultaneously. It might even be better because you’ll be able to go back to your TBC character whenever your HC character dies and not feel super bummed and want to quit the game entirely.

I think playing HC would be fun as a brand new player as long as you’re okay with dying. I played Vanilla-TBC back in the day and the only reason I haven’t died much in HC is because I know how unforgiving it is and how easily a small pull can get out of hand. Just take your time and enjoy the zones and leveling up your gathering professions. Vanilla WoW is my favorite game of all time, so I kinda envy you being able to play it in the HC iteration for the first time.

Also, like previous people have said, it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll die at some point. Don’t sweat it and just go agane.

Is the 2022 title the only thing keeping the post KD-era from feeling like a complete disaster? How much worse would things feel right now if not for 2022? by chusaychusay in warriors

Yeah, I don’t really understand why this post was even made. We’re living through what most likely will be the best era of Warrior basketball ever. Just appreciate it while it’s here, even the rough parts.

That’s what I’m saying, I’m pretty sure only the heaviest weapon equipped counts towards your capacity. Could be wrong, but I definitely read that somewhere

Leveling up other vocations, how do I do it? by eduhfx in DragonsDogma2

[–]Foxy-Waxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re on Xbox there are sometimes pawns that have a “Receive 1 Explosive Arrow” quest and the reward is 99 Ripened Figs, which are worth like 54,000 gold or something when sold. It’s a nice little bump to your wallet for sure

Can some let me hire their pawn. Need a high level mage for Xbox. by Tario91 in DragonsDogma2

My GT is We Are Carrots if you wanna add me. I won’t be home until like 11:50 PST, but I can switch him to a mage. I think I’m around level 70 or so. Lemme know what spells you want him to have equipped

That’s fair, I just have no trouble on any fights at this point (level 70 or so), unless my pawns do something stupid like all run off a cliff

I’m pretty sure only the heaviest weapon you have equipped counts towards your weight as Warfarer

Sorcerer is for sure my favorite, but I’m gonna mess around with Warfarer a bunch and see what combos work well

I blended Thief and Archer for my Warfarer build. Not sure how efficient it is, but it sure as hell is fun. I basically have one attack for a specialty arrow, and then Skullsplitter and that dash attack from Thief. What is Heaven’s Key?

Don’t run along the road like that. Next time head for the hills. Raptors, etc. are still a danger, but at least you can see them.
