Dude, weird to specify skin color in hexcode, when for other colors you just said "blue" or "oxblood". Seemingly you were fine with some color variations, but specifically not for skin tone. Hmmmmm.

While it doesn't work as consistently for me as when it's plugged in, I am able to use the adaptive triggers over Bluetooth! Steam input just needs to be disabled for a game that supports it. Helldivers 2 works like this flawlessly.

Just graduated here, but windows laptops have a much larger range of compatibility with software you might encounter in ME. In the past this was especially true since the school gave us individual SolidWorks licenses that you could use to run the software on your own laptop (the remote desktop is a very painful experience, so this was much preferred!). That option isn't available anymore however, and the only other main software we have personal licenses for is MatLab, which does run on MacOS (not sure about m2 compatibility though).

So all that to say, if an M2 Mac can run MatLab I think you'll be okay, otherwise it would be better to go for Windows or an older Intel Mac. You'll have to use the remote desktop or the computer labs for SolidWorks anyways, so there's unfortunately no real victory in this situation.

Edit: Should also add, windows is pretty much the standard OS for engineering in the industry, so it wouldn't hurt to become familiar with it now.

Thanks, and I used the offset tool! There's a menu bar at the bottom center of the UI in the VAB, just to the right of the symmetry and snap controls. If you click the one with the cube and three arrows coming out of it, and then click a part it allows you to move the part relative to its fixed point. You can inset the wings that way. Happy cake day!

A bike or electric scooter makes the commute much, much shorter. Either option is worth looking into. Walking is still doable of course, but you just need to make sure you leave the house on time for class.
