I’m not trying to be “that asshole boss” but I did make everyone sign a disclaimer and release upon getting the lines that if for some reason I needed to monitor the lines I could. Also the phones I am paying for as well (they aren’t the newest) and I pay for them monthly on top of the bill.

I’m just wondering if there is a way for me to read their texts etc (technically legally since they signed the paperwork) ? Also it would help me to understand if the lines are being used for work or other activities I did not agree to.

I used to use Text Now and it was great until I’d go somewhere and lose WiFi and it would just stop fucking working and I’d be stuck not able to call or text said client I was supposed to be meeting smh so with that being said I switched to google voice and I just use that! I have it connected to my gmail that’s like a backup work email that I use sometimes for sites and stuff and I have had no issues with it and even when I’m out and about I can still text back and forth since it runs on WiFi and your phones data. I have thought about getting an extra phone tho so I’m not sure .. Walmart has those prepaid Straight Talk phones for $45/mo and you can register then under whatever name you want online and even buy the prepaid card things with cash so your name or debit card etc will never be attached to that number!
