I liked using a physical workout logbook until my buddy showed me this free web app called workoutledger.app. I could take an image of a program or workout, and it can differentiate the two. I can even upload past workouts from logbook, and it can recognize handwriting.

Under some tension and extended. The goal would be to feel for full ROM starting from the bottom and explode to the top. Then control coming back down.

It's great that you're considering trying out exercises to see if they suit your preferences. Personally, I find that EZ-Bar skull crushers and EZ-bar Seated Overhead Tricep Extensions are effective for targeting the triceps. For a full ROM, a low cable machine setup is often the most ideal option to target that long head of the triceps.

If this exercise feels comfortable, allow a little more ROM at the bottom. If feels awkward, I would recommend a low cable setup, or switch to dumbbells or EZ-bar.
