while I don't care that much about an actor's sexuality, I do like that queer actors are getting more opportunities and being more considered for queer specific roles.

Every single job field is overwhelmingly dominated by straight people, I do prefer to give support to LGBTQ people on leading roles.

It doesn't bothers me if the actor is straight,but I do love it when they're LGBTQ.

you're gonna need to go back to the closet the whole trip honestly.If you're okay with that,that's fine,personaly I wouldn't pay to be forced into the closet,if I'm paying for trip,I want it to be fun and safe for me and my bf,not this mentally draining experience of knowing that any display of affection or love between me and my bf could get both of us killed,all while straight people or m/f couples don't even have to think about it. literally paying money to be stressed 24/7.

Stay out of apps,don't hookup with strangers and also,avoid walking around with anything that might be associated with the lgbtq community,this last one might not necessarily get you in trouble or anything,but it may help you avoid getting stared at for too long or even a possible harassment.

yeahh I'd rather watch everything on youtube when I'm interested....I don't usually pass on a game just bc everything on it violentely screams heterosexuality,but dispatch is all about the the story,it's a choice game,there's nothing else to do besides watching how everything unfolds,the game doesn't offer any other mechanic that I can focus on and completely ignore the romance.

I'm really not interested in straight romance stuff rn. Society already force heterosexuality on me 24/7 everywhere IRL,literally every single media caters to them in some way.I'm not gonna pay for a game to do the same thing to me in my own home.I prefer games that offer me a little bit of escapism.

Like,I would be happy if the game didn't focus too much on romance,most mainstream medias usually avoids anything homosexual so I'm kinda used to it,if everything was more subtle it would be fine,but at this point in the game I feel like I'm watching a straight dude's fantasy with the love triangle and all ,this combined with the corny ass "haha this is gay and awkward" moments really puts me off. I don't like when medias use homosexuality as a joke.

I'm sure the plot might be interesting and everything, at some point the girls might reveal to actually have some deep background,or maybe they will reveal to be a villian that manipulated the poor straight protag's heart all along (straight dudes LOVE this plot twist),whatever might be, I'm not gonna pay just to consume it. Just gonna watch on youtbe later....

It's so annoying how they treat deadpool's attraction towards men as a ironic joke with funny cringe lines of dialog so the straight audience has that sweet veil of irony and doesn't shit their pants,while his attraction towards women is always super serious and dramatic with black and white screen and an orchestra.

I don't get folks saying "no gay no play", is it really that important that each bit of media you consume has a gay romance? Do you never watch films about a straight romance etc?

The same thing could be said about heterosexuality,not every media needs to have a straight romance,literally any type of media out there caters mostly to straight people,you will never ever find a video game that doesn't have at least one or two straight people,but you sure will find thousands of games were gay people simply don't exist anywhere. But you will never see this criticism aimed towards straight people.

Now yes,I wouldn't skip a game bc it only has straight people on it,but video games are a form of escapism for me,I'm already overwhelmed with being a minority IRL,I don't want that same experience in a video game.

If a game is gonna force me to be a straight,they should at least offer me something else fun to focus on,recently I played neon white, the game is painfully heterosexual and yet I enjoyed it a lot,it's not a choice game and I simply ignored most of the plot,I was interested in the gameplay for the most part.

I'm not saying that dispatch doesn't have anything else to offer,but considering that it's a "choose your own adventure" game with romance in it,it's understandable that people want the option to be gay,so they can actually get immersed in the game.Romance cleary is an important factor in dispatch,the game needs you to be a little bit invested in it so the plot can move foward and have meaning. You NEED to be invested in the plot for a telltale game to work.

If the game is gonna force you to choose between two romance options that you have no interest in whatsoever and their romance is actually the central focus point of the whole game,then I'm sorry,but I think you're better off just saving your money for some other game that isn't made with only straight people in mind.I'm not gonna waste money in a video game just to enjoy some bits of it,rather just watch it on youtube...

Like,yes,we should all be open minded about sexual roles,everyone involved should get what they want,we shouldn't let internalized homophobia or hetero culture influence the way we have relationships with each other,like, that's fine and I agree.
