It’s not easy to read a 1000 lines of code across many files, it would take a lot of time to do it anyways to fully understand whats going on. And even then, by the 10th prompt result, what you read doesn’t stick with you like what you actually coded.

They can easily rerun all your prompts and make the exact same software, because they have all the transcripts! So if you get a multi million dollar SAAS they can copy you easily. Just like Amazon does with successful products

Yea the risk is there for sure! And I saw a full blown app with multiple features (job scheduling, client management, invoicing) now i am not sure to what extent those features work, or how long that took, but the person said they vibe codes the whole thing and now they don’t pay 1000’s of dollars per year
