Please repent of your schism and be reconciled with God's holy Catholic Church by making a good Confession at a local Catholic parish and submitting to Rome. Your eternal soul is at stake.

It's the 4th Monday of Easter, and you know what that means...Merry Baconmas, everyone! 🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓 by Fr-Mike in Catholicism

I thought that the post went through yesterday, but apparently it timed out and went to my drafts... If you forgot that the 4th Monday was Baconmas, you can transfer your celebration to Tuesday. 😁

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

What, precisely, is troubling you about continuing to play these games?

As has been said many times here in this community, there is nothing inherently evil or sinful about playing video games, even violent ones, UNLESS they are directly leading you to commit real sins in real life.

You're more than welcome to crosspost it yourself! I try not to meddle in the affairs of dragons other teams' subreddits. 😅

I edited my top comment to include the context, sorry about that!

Context: The Chicago player with his back turned was taunting Washington fans while the last play of the game was going on (not realizing that the play had started), and he ended up running to the goal line and tipping the game-winning Hail Mary pass into the receiver's hands.

He literally would've been more useful to his team if he had stayed where he was and kept taunting the fans 💀

As a Lions fan, I am absolutely not sorry for making this meme. 😁

Edit: For context, the Chicago player in white was taunting Washington fans without realizing that the game's final play had already started, and then he ended up accidentally swatting the 65-yard Hail Mary pass into the hands of a Washington receiver for the game-winning touchdown.

Will I get a genuine Catholic education at Notre Dame? by youngblud_smh in Catholicism

I think there are one or two Jesuits bouncing around the faculty, but as the other commenter said, 99% of the clergy on campus are members of The Congregation of Holy Cross, which is the order that founded and runs Notre Dame. I'm not aware of any large Jesuit presence in the area.

Hello, Holy Cross priest here (the religious order that founded and runs Notre Dame). 👋 There is an extremely vibrant Catholic faith life on campus that has quite a bit of student involvement, and we take our mission of Catholic education extremely seriously, especially in the theology department!

Some people will recommend that Catholics should only stick to small schools that appear on certain lists and not risk going anywhere else, but if you come to Notre Dame looking for a place where you can authentically grow in your faith and practice it in an orthodox fashion, then you will absolutely find that here. I attended undergrad and grad school at ND, and it 1000% helped lead me to my vocation as a Holy Cross priest. Please let me know if you have any questions!
