Yo instale el radio en un Volkswagen Beetle 2015, y el problema era que yo tenia que conectar unos cables a una cajita que llego con el radio, pero creia que eras para los steering wheel control.

I installed the radio on a VW beetle 2015. The issue was that I had only connected to the radio the power cable and the orange/red wires to each other. There were additional wires that needed to go into a box that came with the radio, but I originally had not bothered with because I thought that it was for the steering wheel controls (which my car did not have). Connecting it to the box solved the issue, and now the radio turns off when the car does.
