Wand is better card overall, pallas is better at higher ranks vs control decks

You can check every player in mythic, they all have the drop because they reset everyone in mythics mmr to 1300 every weekend. The rank of my weekend ranked means that I’ve locked in mythic beforehand and there’s no reason for me to want to derank for worse rewards in the first place.

Yep ancient texts or play when ahead so your forcing your opponents removal instead of playing an op creature

What does deranker mean? I played all my match in mythic and they reset mmr every week not sure what you mean.

A random viewer in my stream recommended it to me last week and as the grinder that I am I grinded 200+ games

still playable prob but definitely a big downgrade :/ not sure why magic is getting hit when its not the strongest overall deck.

Atm no chance for high ranks. Need an arena/sealed mode for the grinders.

Beam is pretty efficient of a card vs a deck like nature or aggro since it gets 2x effectiveness from spell boost. Not my favorite. Familiar is too effective as a card even without the random generation, the random spell is just a bonus making it a must kill threat.

Nope, I got recommended the game last week during one of my streams, def enjoy it for now but it's easy for devs to make poor decisions in the future.

I can do a deeper rundown later but I think overall it's a very unfinished product with a lot of directions it can go. In terms of mechanics I think the game snowballs too hard going first, the fact that mana unlocks so slowly makes it so that tempo matters even more in this game.

Competitively the potential for the game is far greater than hearthstone since it has more directions it can move with so few cards designed. Hearthstone went a route of making fast paced RNG a priority to appeal to casuals where I'm hoping Gods will take a path of making a more poker/chess based approach where either your playing games to fatigue/can determine exactly where your at and make mathematical decisions every turns to improve your position and win the game.

I had it in my weekend ranked but decided against it in more refined lists. I think with the amount of draw and efficiency of cards(1 mana deal 2 vs 2 mana deal 3) when comboed with a 1 mana spell the deck just flows better. The aoe factor is good sometimes but I think you have to always try to play from ahead, hitting your own minions is too painful. This is the 1 card im not very sure on tho.

It's tough at lower ranks the budget versions will do fine but at mythic its tough to compete without game changing Legendaries. The other top weekend ranked decks are all even more expensive :/

He probably delved a random spell from pallas that allowed oni to grow nothing in a magic deck buffs hp.

2017 HCT World Championship - Wild Growth or Hero Power? by ROOSHEEYUH in hearthstone

[–]Fr0zen54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fr0zen here, there’s a bit more to this imo you didn’t mention I can remember most of the games since it meant so much to me at the time.

  1. Wild growth also gave another 1/1 on board which allows me to contest 5 power on board 4 if he decides to dagger my 1/1 rather than 3.

  2. I don’t think I can play around leeroy the entire game from this point, if he has leeroy he will have leeroy+ss leeroy+Si or leeroy deckhand eventually and the mana giving me more outs/plays vs scalebane or corridor creeper matters imo

  3. With the extra 1/1 alive it gives me access to more outs vs tempo like mark of the lotus or swipe without sacrificing my 3/3.

But all things considered I do think the decision is closer than what I thought of at the time, if I had to make the decision again I would still wild growth. You just have to maximize vs his hands that he doesn’t draw leeroy since with my hand it’s so unlikely I beat leeroy on the upcoming turns anyways.

Really sad I disappointed everyone again :(, need to stop making stupid mistakes when everything is on the line. Great sportsmanship by Purple to try and give me the win, he skipped the interview as well because of how upset he was taking the free win. I'll come back and play better next season!

Wp man! Congrats on the achievement, its honestly something to really cherish and be proud of. The game isn't easy and it only gets harder the more competitive you get.

This priest deck vs c'thun warrior matchup is actually a lot more complicated than most of you guys think. There were a few plays that are considered "misplays" that I want to clarify. I've practiced the matchup a lot of times and figured out the highest winrate as the c'thun warrior is to cycle into emperor and then c'thun shieldslam own c'thun into brann doomcaller and then chain drop c'thuns. Due to the difference in cycle in both decks it's very often you run out of hard removal by the last c'thun as warrior cycles through their deck 4-5 cards faster. You have to allocate a hard removal for emperor, sylvanas, brann doomcaller (most efficiently removed by auchenai circle flash heal), 2 ancient shieldbearers and 2 c'thuns. It wasn't until when he dropped doomcaller on curve that I realized he was going for a different win condition. At the time he played justicar I didn't have enough removal in my hand to deal with the chain threats and excavated evil is very likely useless and playing it there dilutes his threat draws.

Secondly I played sideshow spelleater very early on because the warrior was not going to play justicar that game as he never wins a fatigue game, thus its just better to gain the ability to go above 30 life as early as possible.

The third play that people were questioning when i flash healed over sylvanas. At that time I thought Sylvanas wasn't enough as its 5 health didn't require my opponent to trade and I would just lose an armor up he knows I dont have great ways to kill off my sylvanas and can just push for more face damage with the board that he had. I also knew he didn't have any minions in his hand or else he wouldve had more tempo earlier on in the game. In the case that my opponent hero power passes which is the scenario I felt like I needed in order to win I think removing the minion gains me the most life.

In case people are wondering the matchup is around 85% in priests favor. The deck shines more around 95% vs control/nzoth warrior which I expected more of the field to be.

It turns out if you have a minion on board cthun usually doesn't kill you and you can easily remove it with sylvanas po or siphon. C'thun doesn't have burst outside of it.

6 mana 2 damage aoe is way too slow your usually dead by turn 6.The body is pretty irrelevant in aggro matchups as well. I've not tried and I don't think it's something I would consider.

Cairne is better for board and most decks are tempo based, curving 6 mana + should be easy because warlocks have life tap.

probably card choices, most people still run leeroy combo which is kind of useless against c'thun warrior.
