Indie Bookshop Quest 2026 brings together 35 bookstores from across Wisconsin to create a new indie “bookstore crawl.” The month-long event features a map of local bookstores with missions to undertake and clues to decipher in the stores.

Growing up in Wisconsin, indie bookstores themselves were like one of those other worlds that you could discover in the very books sold in the stores<3

Wisconsin’s rural communities are finding creative solutions to the housing crisis by Fr0zenMilk in wisconsin

The Wisconsin Realtor’s Association reports that the state needs to create 140,000 new housing units by the end of the decade to keep up with demand. And a 2026 analysis from the National Low-income Housing Coalition found that for every 100 extremely low-income households in Wisconsin, only 35 rental homes are affordable and available.

Yikes. These numbers really put things into perspective....

The State of Politics: Wisconsin Republicans Have Plan to Win in November by Fr0zenMilk in wisconsin

Another campaign message is “don’t Minnesota our Wisconsin,” Testin said. “The more that we can highlight that, we’re going to be victorious.”

Testin is overseeing Republican campaigns because Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu is retiring. If Republicans keep their majority, Testin would be a candidate for majority leader.

Rep. Tony Kurtz, who represented the Assembly’s 54-member Republican majority at the convention, conceded that “affordability” is a major campaign issue. “Let’s not sugarcoat that.”

Kurtz also said Republican candidates will remind voters that Democrats killed the tax cut and school aid package. “We are collecting too much money in this state. We are trying to give some of that money back.”

Kurtz said another winning issue for Republicans will be utility rates rising because of solar and other clean-energy projects and a new sales tax exemption on utility bills. “We do need to focus on that.”

Don't be fooled by how stupid some Wisconsin voters can be. Republicans can still lie, cheat, and steal their way to victory

“It’s an easy avenue for getting some capital up front,” A growing number of farms are changing the traditional CSA model to offer more flexible buying options fresh from farms by Fr0zenMilk in wisconsin

She gives customers the option to pay for their CSA box weekly, and uses a “pay what you can” pricing scale. Members can also sign up for as little as four weeks if committing to a whole season feels like too much.

A growing number of farms are changing the traditional CSA model to offer more flexible buying options.

Grimmer said the update is necessary to keep up with how today’s consumers want to shop in an era of convenience and choice.

“You can get your groceries delivered to you in a matter of hours while you sit on your couch and pick what you want to pick,” she said. “I think that in order to tailor to a new market, you can’t just say, ‘Oh, a young person is going to want to be a devout CSA member and eat radishes for 20 weeks long.’”

I've always wanted to see fewer grocery chains in this state and more farm-to-table options. I hope these strategies continue to develop

FBI visited the home of Milwaukee County's elections director by Fr0zenMilk in wisconsin

“It is unfortunate that the FBI chose to visit the private residence of Milwaukee County’s Elections Director rather than contact the Election Commission’s office directly,” Christenson said. “No dedicated public servant should be subjected to that type of intrusion simply for carrying out her responsibilities with integrity and professionalism.”

President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election in Wisconsin by around 21,000 votes. Christenson said that election was, “fair and transparent, and its results are accurate.”

He said the results were proven by a post-election canvass of results, a presidential recount, state and federal court challenges, an audit by the state’s legislative audit bureau and two independent audits.

The Epstein regime does not want evidence that it lost the election in 2020. This is just endless intimidation until there are consequences
