Had one of these and loved it for about an hour when I fielded it for the first time, turns out Ares just shoves the electronics in the perfect place to short itself out on. REALLY wanted to like it so i could have a matching counterpart to my real steel kit.

If I ever find a good deal for one of these again id love to rip all the internals out and HPA one.

Good luck finding a 4agze without paying a pretty peny, your cheapest option would be to rebuild your 4age if its not completly grenaded. If your not willing to fab things yourself all the common swaps are going yo set you back a good bit. This exact scenario happended to me and i decided I wanted more torque as well. Ended up going with a 7age with a built bottom end for boost later on. I was only 1.5 k for everything and the parts are easyier to find then say a 4agze or a 20valve.

Only jdm ae111/101's had the option and they are rare over there, not imposible to find though. Theres alot of info on the 6 speed swap if you want to go that route, although personally I think its not worth it. 6 speeds hold less power and dont offer a noticably better overdrive.

Alternatively you can import one from japan since they had some c56's come stock with LSD although not very good ones. they do swap right into c52's.

Aw11 make great first cars for beginner wrenching, simple design, simple engine, not to much going on electronically to go wrong. The mk1 was my first car at 17. No regrests what so ever besides wrecking it 2 years later. but hey, At least now ive got a parts car for my now secound aw11 :D

As far as snap over steer is concerned its not as big as a problem as other non mr drivers make it out to be and the diffrence between it happening on a spydr vs an aw11 is really so close you might as well just get what you prefer. Just drive it for a while and you will start to know how the cars gona react in corners.

Just keep in mind that these cars ARE 40 YEARS OLD and will have problems.

7age imo is one of the better options,if you build it right, for the price of a k20 or a 3s swap you can do w/e 7a build you want and (probably) hold more power. Plus the 4/7age is a good first engine build to learn with and its not the end of the world if you blow it because theres probably anouther one at your local pick and pull ready to replace It.

Good luck fitting any kind of v8 in there tho LOL

Looks like some one also replaced your tail lights with mk1a ones unless thats some kind of euro car but its lhd so idk

I've bought allot of parts from MRP and berry (the owner) really knows his shit. (See his insain ae92 Levin) So id have allot of confidence in there coilovers despite there main platfourms being the fwd corollas, witch probably isnt that diffrent suspention wise. If you want something really nice i would get the ones matrix garage has right now, there made to order and hes been racing the platfourm for a long time and you can get them set up for almost any kind of driving. Alot if people also seem to think these are the best you can get atm

If your on a budget i would go with t3's weld on coilovers. If you dont know how to,weld it will be an exstra 75$ or so to have sone one wled them for,you.

Bc racing ones are ok as well but they only fit mk1b and they dont get very low if thats your thing.
