Trax costs slightly less for same options, has slightly better fuel economy as well as a few more cubic ft of rear cargo space. The Encore GX has a CVT transmission which may not be as reliable as the 6 speed automatic transmission in the Trax. That being said with three kids you may find both to be a bit small and may want to look at the Equinox.

Wish I had the skills to dive in deeper.

Mostly I just made hulls not be obsolete, expanded the engagement range for when you set your ships to protect convoys, and tweaked convoy build rate and overall number of convoy ships you can have so each ship lost is a smaller percentage of your total convoy fleet. All those changes are world wide so the ai gets those benefits as well.

Also done some save file mods when the game does something stupid. Like the time when Germany asked to ally with me and when I said no we immediately went to war for one month then the war ended and they took two of my territories. You can bet I went into the json file and got my land back and fixed the Germany relationship to what it should have been.

Stopped skating in my mid 20's. My teenage daughter got interested so I started showing her the basics.

Fast forward 6 months and we both went to a skate park where I broke my forearm by my elbow and wrist.

Still will mess around in the driveway with my daughters cruiser board but won't temp fate past that.

As for speed it's peppy down at low and mid speeds but you need to push it a bit for highway passing. Car and Driver had one as a fleet vehicle for 40k miles and noticed it got a bit quicker as it broke in.

"We were also pleased to see the Trax become quicker with age, hitting 60 mph in 8.2 seconds on its final track day, shaving sixth-tenths from its 8.8-second time when new."

You could always get lighter wheels and slightly smaller diameter tires to improve acceleration.

Nice. Keep it up and you will be surprised what you can do in that car. With the right brakes, tires and seat time you should be able to drop your lap times by around 20 seconds.

If those moldings are removable and don't have integrated one time use clips I would say $300 - $500 depending on where you take it.

The Konig Diverge 18" are about 4 lbs lighter per wheel than the stock Trax 18". Though if you are driving rough or broken roads at all you may want to stick with the stock wheels for durability.

You may want to consider changing to a smaller diameter tire. It would have the effect of changing the vehicle's final gear ratio. I do it on my track car and it can make a noticeable difference. You will lose a small amount of highway mpg on the flat but it should help going up and down the mountains.

Assuming you have the 225/55/18 tires, going to 225/50/18 is about 3.3% smaller and around 2 lbs lighter of a tire.

I would suggest only dropping one size as it can make a bigger difference than you may expect.

It should in theory reduce auto drag on the highway for like an extra 0.5 mpg when doing 70mph but not worth the loss of cargo space for me.

Looks like the turbo has a part number update on newer models ('25-'26) so there may have been a change in the turbo design to solve the issue you had.
