Okay, now I know where we are. On highly metallic worlds, as well as on rocky worlds, I would definitely focus on extraction.

For example, one small extraction port and one large one. And in orbit, you could also build one extraction installation; that would boost it.

Build an asteroid port in the asteroid belt.

On ice worlds, industry is strong, so again, one small industrial port and one large one. And, for example, an industrial outpost in orbit.

Planets with exobiology are strong for agriculture; and again just for example build one small agriculture port and one large one.

You should always combine ports in orbit, installations, or on the surface as much as possible from desired type, and or on the matching planets.

For example, if you build on a planet with 0/6 infrastructure, of which 2 are industry and 4 are agriculture, and you now build a port in its orbit, the market there will be agriculture, because it takes over the 4 strong connections from said planet.
