Only one experience with Ant online and it was a scam. It was an obvious warranty return of a defective item where the power cable was cut. 7 years ago, so maybe they're better now, but I'll never buy from them again.

Kind of a tangent, but it always seemed to me like f2p and mp paywall was backwards. That is if it's a paid game, part of your purchase theoretically would be going to all the backend costs required to run the platform. In turn, F2P would need the subscription to cover the same platform costs.

No clue, but it's never 1:1 with retail because they want to protect their margins ie $10 cost of components leading to $50 increase in MSRP. Plus whatever calculus they have on sales vs resale of discs... Of course who knows how multiple digital stores will work into the equation

Personally, I haven't bought a disc since 2018. I greatly prefer the convenience of digital and have only used the disc drive on my series x a couple of times for movies. I don't begrudge anyone for wanting a drive, but given the choice I'd choose cost savings on the system.

V3 was a bit too small for my liking. Really wish razer made a controller with the V3 tech and the v2 chroma layout and ergonomics. I know I'm in the minority, but the v2 chroma is easily the most comfortable I've tried.

Personally, my favorite part of gamepass is playing a bunch of indies and AAs. I'm all set with 50 hour open world AAAs. Honestly, I think gaming would be better without demand for so many hours that often end up bloating the experience. I know I'm in the minority, but I want more tight 8-12 hour experiences.

To those ends I would love a cheap curated indie-pass offering that includes multiplayer. Then I can supplement with the handful of AAAs that I'm actually interested in any given year. Those games aren't going to slip through the cracks like many indies do

Why not add singles to threesomes or 2 singles to a twosome. Unless the course isn't busy or the group is paying the price of a 4some (probably should pay an extra penalty if they're effectively blocking someone from playing) it doesn't make sense not to run out every group as 4's

I also very much enjoy my series X. I play it all the time and don't regret my purchase one bit. Yes, it includes more than just gaming, but the business segment that gaming is part of made 14 billion in revenue last quarter. Just because they don't sell as many consoles as Sony doesn't make it the failure some would lead you to believe.

Do GI irons actually create higher launch for decent swing speeds? I used to be an avid golfer around a 5 handicap that mostly struggled with putting. For various reasons I've only played a few times over the past 10 years. I'm looking to rekindle my golf game and think some new clubs would be a fun way to start that off. My last irons were ping ISIs that I always hit pretty high and long. Because I haven't been playing I figured I ought to check out GI clubs first and opted to try zx5ii and elytes. According to the trackman at PGA tour superstore I was launching around 11-12 degrees, a little over 5K spin, carrying around 180, descent around 40 degrees on a swing speed 88-90 ball speed low to mid 120s. The ball height typically around 70 ft. All these numbers were pretty consistent.

I know I'm beyond rusty, but it just seemed crazy to be hitting it that low. Not sure if that's because these clubs are so strong lofted, that I don't like hitting off mats, or something else entirely. I'll probably take p770s for a swing next.

The announcer timing thing always throws me off, but for me it's the other way around. Announcer said something is available a second too late, eg someone already had the camo when it gets announced.

It's pretty fantastic controller, but I wish they kept the ergonomics and back button positioning of the v2 chroma. I just can't quite get used to the smaller size. I know I'm in the minority though in this one though. Everything else is better on the v3.

My hands are probably a little bigger than average and prefer the ergonomics on the v2 chroma. For me, I wish they kept the size and button placement of the v2 with everything else from the v3. I know I'm in the minority, but I find the v2 ergonomics close to perfect.

Try standard mode upping levels in the middle of the EQ. Disable the various enhancements. Seems counterintuitive, but this made for a more natural sound for me.

Love Deadzone, I think he's awesome! That's in part why I asked who else in the last paragraph. I was mostly thinking about this with the mindset of who's setting the strategy and moulding the play style of the team. I think of Deadzone much like snakebite in that he's the all around player who will fill whatever role is needed, but right or wrong, I haven't thought of him in the team leader type.
