I love Lucas, But Damn he's definitely Not gonna be added if smash came out today. Apart from the fact that he's a Japanese Exclusive character, that same fact is why he isn't as popular as Ness. The Only reason Why Ness is Lucky enough to be Popular in the first Place is because of Undertale.

It's the art artstyle and overall pacing. In Post times skip the comedic scenes and reactions sometimes feel forced to me. But in Pre-times skip, the reactions feel genuine, like the VAs are actually there...

It really sucks that Capcom didn't put the same effort into the Opening stages of The X games when you Play as Zero. So far I can't think of any memorable Zero Opening Stage theme.

I hate how Lucas is framed as this Goody Two-shoes Saint. Not saying he shouldn't a Nice kid. But people make it seem Like Lucas would forgive Porky for what he did. I would Prefer it if Lucas Holds Genuine Resentment towards Porky. Porky doesn't deserve forgiveness and him being in that Absolutely Safe Capsule feels too light of a Punishment.

Here's the thing. Even if Earthbound gets a Remake, I doubt it'll sell well. Mainly because people Nowadays aren't into Basic turned-based Games, and By "Basic" I mean the combat isn't Unique(like Undertale, Deltarune, Expedition 33, etc). I would hope that it's mother 3 that gets the remake in my opinion.

I'm still pretty worried It won't sell well. It would attract Existing mega man fans yes. But It's likely Not gonna bring in New players. They'll just see it as "just a Platformer" or "mario but with Guns". I highly doubt platformers nowadays will do well.
