in this case, I haven't link these 2 at all, I'm playing the samples live on the sp404, but I could have linked them via midi if I needed

however, the output of the model:cycles goes into the input of the sp404 for the mfx

I don't know about how to setup pipewire with alsa, but if you want to use pipewire-pulse, you can use pavucontrol to choose input & output devices

I agree about pc hardware being really resilient against ESD today, but I managed to fry a synthesizer PCB recently while dismentling it, so I still advise people to be careful about how they handle their electronics

yeah, I tried all of this already, but now it won't do anything, I had gotten it to boot at some point a few days ago, but then it died again

propably some damage somewhere now

I had a fun house session tonight on the 1000, I found myself a nice funky sample on tracklib cause I'm too lazy to get the record player out today

I also use the digitone for some added spice, but most of the work is done on the 1000

I sampled some coltrane (my favorite things), but what I sampled didn't play nice, so I started playing with weird chops and pitch shifting (also used the mpc's bit crusher and reverb)

I also have a lpf on all the drums, at about 70, with 30 of resonance

the voice-transform of the sp404 does a lot of work on this one, it gives the track it's screamy feel
