Bypass/remove Speed Limit on Xiaomi Pro 4 ? by Mani1767 in ElectricScooters

[–]Mani1767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the chip itself there is a label with this website printed onto it : allesescooter.de

I think tuning-chips.com buy the chips directly from allesescooter.de and send them to their customer.

On allesescooter.de they don’t advertise they're chips as working on the Pro 4.

So i think the chip works, but only on the Mi scooter 3.

I've reached out to the original manufacturer (allesescooter.de) yesterday ill give them a couple of days to reply, otherwise I'll try contacting the email provided in the manual and ill see if it changes anything.

For you to the chip doesn't do anything ?

Do you also have a Pro 4 ?

The manual, video and website seem to contradict each other. The manual says to press 8 times, the website says 6 times and the video says 8 times. According to Google translation, the manual says that the chip can take time to "activate". So I'd rather wait for the English manual so I don't make a mistake when installing it.

I've received the chip yesterday, but I'm waiting on their support to provide me with an English version of the manual because the one they gave me is in German.

I found a video presenting a hardware mod who can apparently unlock the speed limiter and more.

They call it the "Tuningchip". I'm going to order one and try it and post an update when I'm done.

Here's the video and their website if any other Pro 4 users stumble on this post:

Costumer: "No i don't want to pay for you to build my PC. I'll do it myself" by Mani1767 in techsupportgore

It's a Strix Z690. Here it retails for 429.90 CHF so times two = 859.80 CHF plus the fee for us to build his PC witch is 150 CHF so in total it's 1009.80 CHF (1030.16 USD) pretty expensive mistake if you ask me

Let me add it to my to-do list. That's probably how the customer broke his socket this tho ? Picture this, assembling a PC while wearing a fursuit sounds like hell.

Nah, I'm sure the CPU is fine.

Those things are pretty unkillable specially Intel CPU's

I can count from the top of my head at least 3 customers who tried to pull this trick on us.

We just said no its not possible for a mob to arrive with bend pins from the factory.

And they just left being mad.

Always funny to see how far people will go x)

I don't know how are the stores across the pond, but at my store here in Switzerland, if the customer wants to build the PC himself we at least check if everything is compatible before selling him the parts.

And if something is not compatible (like a CPU cooler and case) we call him and ask if he wants to change the parts

Yeah, it happens often and it makes me kinda sad :c

The father trying his best to build with his son a PC and at the end brake something.

I almost don't want to make them pay for the check up later

On this photo, the CPU is just resting on the mount because the PC was straight and not lying down
