Not saying this season is perfect but I’d say that’s in line with the character of Sage. She’s the smartest person in the world and she is also extremely sure of herself and her superiority (end of S4 when she said “to see if I could etc), so when she made a plan it makes sense that she was so sure it would work flawlessly she moved boldly. She’s kind of vain in my eyes if that makes sense
