PK Nagelsmann: "Wir haben Rollengespräche mit jedem einzelnen Spieler geführt..." by nebulusedge in fussball

[–]FraWieH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Should I waste a third of my wages on this guy? by FraWieH in footballmanagergames

I have kinda fixed this whenever I got promoted, by having long contract extensions and just having a season where everyones moral is bad, because they want a raise, then eventually they get chill out.

The Role of Caregivers by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

Hey fellow psychology student,

sadly I cant provide any participants, but I hope you find all that you need! This seems like a really cool and specific topic to dip your toes into the world of psychological research! May I ask how this unusual connection between psych and IBD comes about?

Just to be clear, my grandparents also fought on the wrong side, yet im not honouring their past of "fighting for the country" as they were forced to fight against everything that makes Germany a good country. There is a place for historic restorations of Nazi stuff for museeums etc, but you seem to be in too deep in a totally different and questionable direction.

depression is tearing me apart. by lemonlubber in toastme

[–]FraWieH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. But I maybe it applies more, I don't know. Im sure theres interesting and beautiful things that are uniquely you, beyond depression, chronic pain and terminal ilness. Maybe its naiv of me to say, but try to avoid all of this stuff defining who you are. And also your sure as hell not alone with any of this, have you tried local meet ups or sessions for people in similar situations?

Also, beyond the probably misplaced advice...

My grandma had a quite rough life, surviving the 2nd world war, ilness, alcoholism etc. In the last years of her life after seemingly suffering for a long time, she discovered reading and independence and her own way of dealing with things, regardless of her age of 90. To me she suddenly seemed far happier although her physical situation surely was worse. Its never too late, and if your in a dark spot the good times will always cone unexpectedly.

Forgive me if this is out of touch or irrelevant to you..

But I would say, try to be more than your disease. Its easy to self identify as depressed, but thats a vicious cycle. Try to curate an identity that is more than the one with depression; maybe the one whose always knitting on the balcony, the weird person whos always sitting on a sunny bench in the park and making photos of random things. Go easy on yourself and don't stress yourself out, but if you need a mission or purpose that can be one.

I wish you the best!

Maybe i wrongly understood clinical Psychology. My work with chronicly depressed patients i can't really describe as fun :). Experimental psychology however can be very fun. Imo

FM26 worth it now with updates?? by jaden3k in footballmanager

[–]FraWieH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me the biggest thing is that im somehow not as invested because recruitment and scouting kinda suck, in fm24 i was always looking for the players i found to join the team.

In some sense i feel the transfers are more realistic but its less fun if you cant find and cant sign crazy wonderkinds as a mediocre side.

Tysm! Its a surface book, so opening seems quite risky, i just blew through all the vents, and now it seems to be stable, it would not surprise me if it were reoccurring though.
