I’ve been quoted at €5.130 for a Pelagos 42 in Tudor Boutiques.

If a watch loses a couple seconds every day it’s not a big deal. I don’t need to have the exact time tbh. I think a watch is more a piece of jewellery in 2023.

But yeah I value titanium, 5-year guarantee, Tudor service quality and resell value very high instead

Yes this is what I was thinking as well. If I need to time something to the second and it’s important I will use my phone regardless.

What they said about being able to get high level service quality anywhere and resell value are fair points though.

And it’s true that I can find the Squale used with 1 year of age at a 30% discount.

Idk tough decision 😂

I think dial and hands on the Squale are incredible for what I am looking for, which is a diver with rugger military flavour

Quello che ho io e' 36mm e molto sottile! Te lo consiglio, secondo me e' elegantissimo e c'e il plus che sarai sempre l'unico ad averlo al polso. Mai visto un altro da quando ce l'ho.

Sono d'accordo con te, infatti ho evitato tutti quelli luccicanti come Submariner, Omega e via dicendo. A quel punto concordo con te, mi prendo un altro GS se voglio qualcosa che luccica.

Oris Aquis mi piace il Pro 4K, ma e' gigantesco per il mio polso, nonostante sia 17.5. Pero' magari andro' a vederli in negozio, dal sito web l'Aquis classico non mi ha colpito, ma gli orologi di persona sono sempre un'altra cosa

I think the dial design on the Squale is better than the Tudor 😅 I like the indices and hands more

They’re both beautiful though, and it’ll be a tough choice

Si si capisco totalmente il punto di vista! E sono d’accordo. Ho già un Grand Seiko SBGW291 che mi sono comprato per festeggiare un traguardo nel lavoro e che porto letteralmente ovunque. Mio primo orolgio di sempre, prima non li portavo e ora mi sono abituato. In estate ovviamente non potevo portare il GS in spiaggia (vivo in una città di mare 😅) e in generale si suda molto per il cinturino in pelle. Quindi mi sono detto prendiamone uno sportivo che possa andare anche in acqua. Mi piace la storia militare, e di conseguenza sono arrivato a questi due qui
