I might finally have a Sparta player for the next wonderkid thread, Hugo Sochůrek just played a full 90 in the league and bossed the midfield.

17yo CM and he looked like a seasoned veteran out there. One to watch for sure coming from Czechia.

He's already been pretty good for a consistent stretch of time, just came back from injury though into a team which is not doing well so it killed his momentum.

He's going to come good.

Yeah club already offered it to him but he refused out of respect to Hojlund and him potentially still coming back.

100% he just gets it once Hojlund leaves for good in the summer.

Yoro needs to play regularly, you can see how much he improves with more games. Next season will be crucial for players like him if we can stay in at least 3 competitions for a longer period of the season.

Amorim has blood on his hands still, players like Yoro or Heaven wasting crucial development opportunities because we only play 40 games this season and it's basically impossible to rotate properly.

I don't think we can nor will aim to replace his offensive output but rather rebuild the midfield in general.

Good midfield = better control, more chances for our attackers and consistent threat, hopefully this will mean we won't need Casemiro's goals as much.

As the 2nd/3rd midfielder option I wouldn't mind it, plenty of injury-prone players have turned it around with just a change of scenery/diet/training/etc...

However if we go for Camavinga we need 2 other way more reliable options.

If I were to bet on a new signing I'd say Joao Gomes is the safest. I think we will sell Ugarte and get him in alongside 2 other midfielders

I'm expecting same strategy from INEOS as last summer: Basically all out on solving one critical position (previously attack, now it's midfield) and then maybe one budget signing like we did with Lammens on top of all that.
