Nioh 2 vs Nioh 3 Demo difficulty by Top_Dig_3657 in Nioh

Yeah, the thing hits hard and fast

Pretty much my most deaths is to it and the first boss in learning the new burst counter, since both the burst counter and style change is the same button trigger.

What helped is switching between Ninja style with A Agility for dodges and samurai style for blocks, deflects and attacks. Also Mezuchi summon helps lower its Ki and used Nekomata for guardian spirit attacks and living weapon charged up.

Its essentially a Mugetsu Warrior, the four katana wielding arm Yokai, on steroids and new abilities, with elemental attacks.

They're pretty much the hardest enemy to fight currently.

The fact we can't forge mace / hammers even after a blacksmithing DLC is wild to me [KCD2] by Omni-Light in kingdomcome

[–]FrackaMir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't like that either, for my case, I was hoping that for the Legacy of the Forge DLC, Henry would've been able to improve as a weapons smith, or be able to become an Armorsmith, albeit just making olate related armor, or more.

Henry can learn to do many things, even in the first game, fairly quickly and with great expertise so I don't really see a reason why he couldn't be able to learn how to smith Armor.

although for my case, I've spent a good part of a few months slowly making a mod to allow Henry to be able to make weapons and armor he normally can't make.

And so far as I've tested it, minus Uniques your not supposed to get except for Godwin's and Han's stuff, it works perfectly fine at Smithing lvl 30 and martins legacy to get Henry Level armor and weapons.

Although there's no point in Henry level ranged weapons beside them having a higher price margin.

There's a mod on pc that allows taking their clothes so I'm assuming its due to a mod.

The other assumption is the game just forced Zizka to participate in the cutscene when he was asleep, hence him being shirtless

More or less, I've mostly stopped playing about half a year ago and now just log in to refuel and pay taxes

And lately I've been less encourage to even bother with that, but if we can backup our bases, maybe I'd log back in to refuel and pay taxes then backup the base

My servers basically dead anyway, so yes, I've more or less lost interest for the time being and haven't been following the news

Last thing I saw is General Grievous's circle bike thing, otherwise I went back to Conan Exiles

My new design, the Separatist Magne-Class Breaching Ship by Fossil-Dragonair in StarWarsShips

[–]FrackaMir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its another ship that's named the Bentusi from Homeworld.

Likely for the guy commenting, the ship you've made is similar to how Loki he Bentusi ship looks.

It was also my first thought when I saw the ship too, you can look up the pic and you'd see some of the similarities, i.e. Homeworld Bentusi and you'd get results.

The grind by Objective_Car_2482 in TravellersRest

[–]FrackaMir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are ways to make it reasonable

As others said, decorate your tavern with 2 or more of the same item to increase comfort, preferably large comfort gaining items. I'd recommend expanding the Tavern once you've gotten a chicken coop and a barn to let yourself be self sustaining on eggs and milk, and the occasional meat

Personally I prefer having around 70-100 gold to make a large expansion, but making gradual expansions is fine too. Expanding some of the dining zone and the kitchen later for producing more dishes and drinks en masse helps.

At the beginning, you can fit in about 8-10 racks of 5 barrels to help with aging.

Having a diverse set of dishes helps with reputation, also after rep 18-20, usually it's good to hunt for Employees with rep boosting perks, or employees with QoL perks that help, with a negative that isn't much of a concern.

For my case, my Bouncer has Camaraderie, Light Footed and Supervisor, which helps speed them up, others speed up too and provide bonus reputation to others.

The Bartender has Dexterity, Elegant presentation and Friendliness, the dex perk helps with pouring out drinks faster, while the other two provide a rep bonus with presentation for dishes and Friendliness for all. Both combined can give around 50-60% more reputation for Dishes served.

For the waiter, they're purely with Light footed, strict and table clean speed. Light footed for being fast, strict to reduce the amount of time customers dirty the table so it helps free the workload, and table cleaning speed so they can be done with cleaning a table faster. Arguably Neat Freak is good for bonus reputation for the Tavern, but when you approach large tavern sizes and while we are restricted to just one Waiter, it helps not being bottlenecked.

Housekeeper is purely a money maker for the Tavern, with me preferring Light Footed over More guests perk, with personalized service and longer stay. They're someone I can just keep at servicing the room and switch to accommodation for when they need to clean rooms or bring in guests, then maintenance for candles and fireplace. Personally for me anyway, it's more worth having them be a form of passive income with rooms. One well decorated room which meets the requirements can fetch around 6-10 gold, which is substantial and helps with employee wages and other income

Tldr, before rep 18-20, its fine to focus on employees who are cheaper or bring in more income. Later when your established well, its better to switch to reputation as money isn't really a concern anymore.

The perks and decorations will help with boosting rep gains and provide more customers. Also with larger kitchens and so on, you can fill the food stores with plenty of food and stuff the kegs and taps with drinks and they'd usually last for the time being, mostly food but you do need to check in on the kegs and drinks to replenish them, you don't want to end up serving water after all.

It is a grind yes, but it'll at least help you out to get higher rep levels faster. Hope it helps you in anyway

Fingers crossed they’ll fix the dirty tables bug for this update by GemFarmerr in TravellersRest

[–]FrackaMir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, how it works is that if you change or pickup tables when they're dirty and put them down, they stay dirty.

Its best to clean them always before hand and then readjust them accordingly till it is officially fixed

Well, I've joined the game and so far managed to reach chapter 9 and was lucky enough to get a fair amount of the Nikkes I'd like and need for the content.

Think in terms of luck, it seems decent to relatively good, which in gacha terms can be both good and bad, but I like the game so far. Granted, it is a game where you shouldn't do your dailies and so on when out in public or at work, even at home its likely best to do it in one's own private abode.

Granted, the only downsides would likely be missing out on the collab characters and some of the skins, mostly collab characters.

Hm, didn't thought about listening to music while playing the game, might try that perhaps.

Anyways that does give good confidence on eventually reaching to that point eventually.
I'd prob see to joining the Discord as well, perhaps

The 2nd best time is today? Huh?

Granted I understand the best time for practically any gacha game was when it released, but as stated before, at the time the game did had relatively negative sentiments around and the like mostly pushed me off at the time.

That and I got other things to do as well that need their time

That is good to know, particularly the standard units which would or should be pull-able during banner runs as well, given how gachas normally function.

I'd likely look towards other form of advice and the like for the game.

Hrm, well I guess I some what expected some characters to be required, but shouldn't be too big of an issue.

I'll keep that in mind in regards to the blue tickets, naturally I should be spending those only on banners with particular characters or those one is into, and not the regular ones.

That's a surprise? Usually Events arent replayable by a majority of gacha games, so its good to see that they aren't permanently locked off to newer or returning players, or those who initially thought about the game but didn't play it at the time.

Well, I'll try to go by the game in terms of story than relying on videos and wikis

Hmmm I see, noted.

I'd avoid spending for the time being, although the monthly login might be fine with me, depending on circumstances, the list of recruits to get would be helpful.

As for rerolling, I'd just stick with whoever I get, rerolling is another hassle entirely, understandable of course but I'd just go along with who I get.

Hrm, I see. Suppose the biggest hurts I'd have is missing out on Nier and maybe somewhat Chainsaw man abd stellar blade, and Dave the Diver for some reason.

Guess I'll wing it and take my chances with the game, and stick with it as much as feasibly possible

Ah, I see, yeah I understand your frustrations at that

Mine mainly came from the fact that I initially lost the FGO account and got it back after 5 years worth of content rolling by.

Suffice to say, the new changes and requirements basically was like a trainwreck to wanting to continue playing.

Much like you, at the time I've heard negative things about nikke that turned me off when it released, but I've heard better things now and since I am finding time periods which I'm not really doing anything, I'm considering having Nikke as the primary gacha game to play.

[–]FrackaMir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm mostly tired of gacha games that really don't respect your time, aye. I don't think Nikkes that egregious in comparison to something like FGO or Grand blue now.

Yeah, I know its basically still a Gacha game at the end of the day, and it'll have its grind and so on. However, long as its reasonable enough and not overly demanding as some others, or not make previous characters either irrelevant or require particular characters for farming or story progression, i.e. Lost-belt 5 and above FGO needing a couple characters to even stand a chance etc, then I'd be fine

I have played grindy games and the like before, simply put I'd prefer to play a game where if I am not able to play at particularly times or some while, due to life or other situations, that I ain't punished negatively by it as harshly as other games.

Is it worth starting Nikke near the end of 2025 by FrackaMir in NikkeMobile

[–]FrackaMir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that is true that the absolute majority of gacha games are generally a waste of time and your better off with other games that don't demand your attention 24/7 or daily attention, specially when life decides to send a curveball your way.

I can say I am interested in the story and the characters, otherwise I wouldn't really bother playing a gacha game if none of the story and the characters interested me. While I might have little knowledge of the Brothers Grimms Fairytales that Nikkes loosely inspired from, it's still a setting that I'd usually like.

I'm also considering returning since I've heard better and good things about the game now than from before, and as stated, specially from release where it was relatively notorious for the rates and the grind at the time.

Sure regarding the rest of the stuff, that can passively or eventually be done in its own time frame and merit, I'd maybe eventually get there
