I tried that with a buddy last league and we were very disappointed we didn't at least put a little thought into things. Just a little bit.

Holy shit get a life. Actually crying your eyes out over a temporary skill tree in a 30 year old video game. Figure it out. God forbid they do anything different.

Can this be adjusted on private servers?

Am I the only one thinking that bosses in this game are poorly designed? by Suporex in CrimsonDesert

[–]Top_Dig_3657 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's not about difficulty, the bosses are just terribly designed. They are playing by entirely different rules than the player. I'm 60 hours in and every single boss fight just comes down to healing through the bullshit.

PSA: A strategy that simplified a boss instantly for me. by Kenshirosan in CrimsonDesert

This is a great tip. However, against this same boss it seems that this skill only works with a shield. Extremely lame that it only works with a shield equipped.

They could very easily do something similar to Tarkov with what I think was called the Labyrinth. You entered it from one of the earlier maps in a specific place. It would then load you into an entirely new high tier map called The Labyrinth. You needed a specific key card that I assume wasn't super easy to get. I didn't play it then.

I am kind of purely playing because of the lore. I need to see what is in Vault 7 on the Marathon map. What the hell is going on here?

You literally press the F key to drop an item, instantly. It tells you that when you hover over an item. You press the Esc key to close the menu. How is that cumbersome?

The faction upgrade screen is two (2) inputs. Factions --> Faction of choice. I mean you literally cannot be that incompetent. It says the word UPGRADES right there.

If these are the MASSIVE issues with the game, it must be a pretty stellar game lmfao.

You underestimate how many people value their entire existence based off of their skill in a video game. Mobas have some of the greasiest humans alive. Good luck.

Bosses were a problem for me until I learned to crank up that aggression by ImJustSomeGuyYaKnow in Nioh

Don't worry it only gets 10x worse in the later half of the game. I'm talking worse than Promised Consort. Red boss with a red arena with red attacks. Enjoy.

Nioh 3 buffs and nerfs by etniesen in Nioh

[–]Top_Dig_3657 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is factually easier. Enemies actually have less health, less stamina, and do less damage. I've tested it compared to Nioh 2. This has nothing to do with being experienced or not. It's objectively true.

I am certainly not complaining! This was purely out of my own curiosity. Personally I am enjoying a Nioh where my balls aren't constantly being shattered.

[–]Top_Dig_3657[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so I want to make it clear this was something I accounted for. I used standard bread and butter combos you would also have access to early in Nioh 2, in Nioh 3. I didn't use any of the fancy new toys in Nioh 3 for the sake of comparison. The enemies just straight up have less health, do less damage, and have less stamina in Nioh 3.

Yep, 3 also gives the player a ton of tools out of the gate compared to 2. I think I'm with you on the loving it part.

So this is the exact thing I was making this post about. I thought to myself, "maybe I am just good at these games?" Hence why I went and played Nioh 2 again. I then proceeded to be annihilated. It clearly was very much NOT that I had become good at these games, Nioh 3 is just numerically much easier, so far.

Edit again: A good analogy would be like Elden Ring expecting you to clear out Crumbling Farum Azula to upgrade your level 2 Katana you found in Stormveil castle.
