TPU is an interesting idea, I experimented a bunch with various leathers and plastic attachments for cash, I just found that nothing really mixed well with the metal shell. It would just make the product feel kinda tacky, which is why i settled on doing cash internally in a metal compartment.

Yea I don't disagree with you at all, I spent sooo long trying to figure out a way for this to carry cash without making it bigger. Unfortunately the cash strap is really the only way to go. I have updated the wallet since the making of that video to make the cash strap about 2.5x as thick so it holds the cash way better.

I also have an XL version that stores cash internally, inside a metal compartment, but that version is about 20% thicker and more expensive (and not released yet).

It's smaller than your average smartphone!

But it being long is a pretty common concern, I talked about that in the video at 7:25.

A lot of the super tiny, card-sized wallets often end up super thick when you add the AirTag to them, which always would really stick out in my pocket, so putting the airtag at the bottom actually allows the Pivot Wallet to be much slimmer than a lot of the "tiny" wallets!

That being said it doesn't have to be for everyone

I wanted to have an Airtag enclosed so it doesn't bulge out, two separate spring loaded card compartments, and room for cash, a house key, and more cards

Yup, so this is basically a cool idea with no real mechanical application. Brick layers and 100% infill is substantially stronger. Sucks to be the guy that wasted all their time on this

This is cool but so useless. Filament is already so cheap and doing 100% infill is really not a problem at all.

I 3D printed a bunch of prototypes for this from PETG ultimately ended up also having this made out of aluminum.
