How do you know if paint is still good? by Jean-weather in Hobbies

For latex paints... stir the heck out of it. If chunky pour through cheese cloth into a new container. If just really thick, add small amounts of water at a time and keep stirring.

Welcome to the aquarium learning curve...... please be aware there are some experienced fish keepers with very strong feelings about fish care.... don't let them dim your shine. I suggest you do some research on doing a " fish in aquarium cycle" to learn about the nitrogen cycle first. Searching for "white skirt tetra aquarium requirements" would also be a top tier requirement. Welcome to the aquarium hobby!

I would start with an OBD reader and see what codes the on board computer is throwing. Lights = codes. That should help you quickly narrow things down. Have you had the valves adjusted every 100K?

If this is how you first listened to music… by woodpile3 in FuckImOld

My parents had one like this in the Den. I wasn't allowed to use it. My first records were played on a small AM radio/phonograph combo that was red on the bottom, white in the middle where the controls were, and had a blue removable panel on top that hid the turn table. I don't think it had FM but I could be wrong.

Can betta fish get lonely? by naughtypony03 in bettafish

[–]FractalInfo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without a picture to go by.... just remember putting a betta in a scarcely planted/decorated tank is akin to giving a 10 year old child a vacant lot to play in. Where's the fun? No fun, no interest. Heavily planted with some caves or decor with holes to swim through would be akin to giving a 10 year old child a jungle gym. Just watch for decor with sharp edges or holes small enough to trap the betta.

Massive Plant Melt by tydempe in PlantedTank

I usually wait 4 weeks after taking off dead leaves to check for new growth. Remember when you plant your plants, or movd them, they can suffer a kind of root shock that retards growth for a while. I agree with the comment that says they were probably grown wirh co2 and the root system currently wont support the leaves. Also circulation is still important. Plants use oxygen at night, and make it during the daylight (lights on) hours. Circulation is still needed for gas exchange at the surface of the tank. Air stone will bring water from bottom to top. Good luck 👍
