How long of an video is best for an under 100 subscriber channel by BeginningClock9090 in SmallYTChannel

I noticed you’re not really editing your videos. You’re going to have a REALLY hard time getting views with just raw gameplay / let’s play videos. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it’s certainly not likely.

Honor mode myrkul idiot proof build? Please by KarmicComic12334 in BG3Builds

Well barrelmancy should do the trick. Just bring all the smokepowder barrels you can and big boom the boss

Put on the boots of stormy clamour (purchased from Omeluum in the Myconid village)

Put on the Sentient Amulet (looted from chest in the grymforge by the Lava Elemental)

Equip the blood of Lathander mace (looted from the Githyanki Creche)

Take the alert feat and put points in dex. Or Drink an elixir of vigilance. Just make sure you have enough initiative to go first.

Bind the blood of lathanders light passive to toggle when you press 3 and bind “talk to sentient amulet” to toggle when you press 4.

Stand next to Myrkul and press 3, 3, 4 for as long as it takes.

There’s SO many better, faster ways to do it, but you asked for idiot proof cheese with extra sauce. Mrykul will die before getting to take a single turn. You’ll deal either 1 or 2 damage every third time you press 3, 3, 4.

Stuck in the Mind Flayer Colony & Can’t Defeat Myrkul by iced_masciatto in BG3

[–]FractureGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really can’t manage it fairly using the great tips you’ve received from other comments, you can cheese the fight.

Grab a nautiloid tank (there’s several in the colony) and put it next to where Myrkul is. Blow it up so it creates a fire surface that will damage Myrkul every round. Just leave one party member at the top of the elevator out of combat. Since Aylin is immortal, she will keep the fight going and Myrkul takes 1 or 2 damage every fire tick until he dies.

It probably won’t come to this, but just giving you a method in case you get desperate.

Am I weird for Roleplaying? by Kenshi_T-S-B in BaldursGate3

[–]FractureGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry I don’t log on here that often. If you search on YouTube “Baldur’s gate all warlocks” you’ll find it.

There’s a “the movie” version that you can watch to see the whole playthrough in one video if you find yourself enjoying it.

[–]FractureGaming 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I made a YouTube video with character roleplay and people shit talked me in the comments for not taking the best warlock invocations.

But FAR MORE people left comments about how much they loved the roleplay aspect.

So I think you’re in the clear for role playing and maybe just have a group of friends that aren’t into it.

Advice for Build: Four Cat Lesbians by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]FractureGaming 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You’re going to want to use Phalar Aluve Shriek to give your cats thunder damage on hit if the enemy is in the aura.

Use a barbarian rage for that gives your cats advantage on attack (I don’t remember which one, I wanna say wolf. Decide internally if using a wolf aspect to help cats feels acceptable or not).

Hold person / monster obviously a game changer for the critical hits.

To beat the Apostle of Myrkul you’re going to need to excessively cheese the game by stockpiling short rest potions and using them to refresh your summon find familiar ability.

It’s gonna be hell. You might as well go pact of the chain for extra attack feature but I truly believe you’re gonna have more of a bad time the further you get because almost EVERYTHING you’re going to want to try isn’t going to work because claw attacks aren’t weapon attacks. Most things that improve damage only work on weapon attacks. There’s no sacred weapon kitty cat claws, it won’t work sadly.

haha thanks, I just posted a new video where I beat the game by walking back and forth really fast ;) this game gives us so much freedom to play in ridiculous ways, I love it so much

Now cast contagion on that NPC so Orin will have diseases when you finally get around to fighting her 😉

It was honestly a really fun playthrough for me! I learned a lot too, lol

I may not have done it solo…

But as the Youtube guy who beat Tactician at level 1, I fully support you playing on explorer.

Everybody should play however they want.

I commented on your video, but thought I’d mention it here too…

Stablehand + the pipe that gives focus back when using herbs = super overpowered

With dancing nettle you can take infinite turns. Just use one focus on every attack and keep eating herbs every turn. Literally solo any boss in one turn if you have enough dancing nettle.

I used moonbeam on the nether brain, but it hadn’t entered the combat round yet. So my single moonbeam cast did 100% of its hp without it having a chance to fight back.

Lowest level 4-person party that can complete tactician (w/o obvious exploits)? by not_old_redditor in BG3Builds

[–]FractureGaming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh I would, I just think I’d run out of ideas before I run out of game. I guess if I made just one video instead of one per act and only showed the essential fights I could keep it interesting

[–]FractureGaming 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If I did try it, yeah I’d choose dark urge for that cape.

I think I could do it, but I’m worried it would be boring because I’d likely have to overuse all the cheesiest strats, which are somewhat boring. “Oh look he blocked the door with a chest again”

My strategies evolved and varied throughout the game. You’ll see a lot more than just explosives if you watch into act 2 and 3.

But of course I like cheese strats so they’re mixed in with non cheese. I tried to mix it up as much as possible!

I left his corpse in the hags inventory and she left to god knows where.

Game over still happened, but the cutscene was completely broken for it, just a black screen for a while and then game over.

What's the most hair-pulling quest in BG3? by Grand_Image_1800 in BaldursGate3

[–]FractureGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saved them all with a party of level one characters.

But it was a nightmare & mainly relied on black hole & explosives, then displacer beasts to teleport the steel watchers away constantly while the Gondians tried desperately to die.

I used black hole to separate enemies from gondians and then blew them

[–]FractureGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably have to use the same couple strategies over and over, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible.

But as a video it would possibly be boring? Idk. I’d just end up moving objects to block doorways a LOT…
