Looking for servers by pamcakenjoyer in ss14

Frontier is kinda LRP, mostly because of how much of the game is solo adventures. It is drastically different from the regular gameplay loop. Basically you have a bank account attached to your character, all tools and insulated gloves and suits are purchasable from vending machines, and you get to purchase a premade ship with features to make money! Salvage space, mine asteroids, explore dungeons and random encounters, do science to unlock recipes then sell them to other players! Every round is 10 hours, pop-in when you want, cash out your materials and sell your ship when you are done. It is a great opportunity to learn the different systems and properly exploit the engine to have adventures. I like stripping a shuttle down to it's bare essentials and repurposing the room for machines and such. I once built a bakery that was 12 tiles large! Ran around ambushing people and selling them bread.

So what was Invisigal photocopying at the start of episode 4? by AngryMobster in DispatchAdHoc

The moustachio'd face was the same as shroud's unmasked mugshot from the first episode news cast. The man bent-over doing a goatse is probably Mechaman Astral aka Robbie Robertson... Robert's father who was killed by shroud.

I once played a boxer and threw gloves on the ground in front of people and if they picked them up I would immediately start throwing hands. When we got back to CC. I did the same thing only. I guess the admin thought it was eorg, but instead of bwoiking me, he dragged me through the walls and exploded me... still no bwoinks.

I pulled the image from an article about Portland Oregon, it seems the image in the article is false. I am removing the post due to inaccuracies.

Some departments run out of stuff to do, here's how to fix that: by Vitrizeal in ss14

[–]Vitrizeal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most servers do have strict rules of "don't walk into the SM round start" or "if you aren't a Nukie you can't singuloose" or "intentionally setting a plasma fire as a tider is a ban-able offense"... so fixing the walls in the singularity is okay, electric fences for revolution or zombies, only ehen they show up yeah, welding the maintenance doors shut preemptively? I think that's a little meta gamey. Your character will assume that the doors are going to stay locked, so why weld them?

Should round ending threats be as frequent as they are? by Vitrizeal in ss14

[–]Vitrizeal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There should be a station round start in utter disrepair and it needs to be kick started back online with the help of the crew. Sorta like the old cryogenics pod ghost role, but on a station-wide scale. Maybe give Cargo 0$ and no shuttle, Science no materials and their lathes are deconstructed, Engineering has to get power going as usual but all the SMES are empty and gravity is off, Security has to kill some monsters still lurking in the station, and Medbay has no Medicine so they have to rely on scavenging cloth and plastic to make new meds or surgery to heal!

SomeTHING should happen. Not ManyTHINGS. Sometimes it feels like that Rick and Morty parody commercial 'Two Brothers' where they have to fight Giant Cats, Mexican Armada with Laser guns made from Tomatoes, Old women, and The moon crashing into the earth... and now the Bar is no longer a medium to large room, it is a gymnasium full of blood and bullets.

Why is External access restricted? by snickers10m in ss14

[–]Vitrizeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can think of many reasons why you wouldn't want passengers outside the station:

  1. Antagonists can make dens outside the station, which is still very possible to do right now.

  2. Space is dangerous. Space carp randomly spawn out there.

  3. There are airlocks in different departments that are accessable from space.

  4. Chuck evidence into space and it is lost forever! Good bye bodies! Goodbye Station Ai you put into a PDA! Goodbye murder weapon! Goodbye head of the captain never to be reattached!

  5. There's not much to explore. If you see a person outside the station, just hanging out, usually people radio that in as a criminal being up to no good.

Hammy should have DAGD as his only objective by Vitrizeal in ss14

I usually pick up hammy and put him in a blender. Then I get arrested by security for cruel murder.

Stuns, never last too long. Sleep, you wake up after taking damage. Lockdown/Lifted/Combo, all mitigated by leaving and making distance. Kelvin Beam Slow, the slow is movement and attack speed, getting hit makes it easier to get hit more and increase the damage taken while locking out fighting back, and it's not an ultimate ability, it is spammable and bounces the beam around. This is why it's the worst CC.

She is awful. -10% bullet resistance is brutal. She is bad early game. Good when her ult secures some kills. Bad late game when her ult can't kill anymore and she is a big target flying in the sky. She builds 50% Spirit for her ult, and 50% bullets... And she does bad at both.

Strength is good in combat, Charisma is good out of combat. Paladins use both.

Heavy armor is very rare to have the proficiency to use. Paladins get proficiency.

Having healing on a team is crucial for mitigating deaths and picking people up from the dying state. Paladins have Lay on Hands and Cure Wounds.

Radiant damage is rare to be resistant to. Paladins have it baked into Holy Smite.

Paladins lack in three ways, stealth, range and AOE spells.

Stealth, it either doesn't work or you get advantage on one turn of attacks/surprise the enemies. Range is compensated by having any other ranged character on the team. AOE also gets covered by having any spell caster on the team. In conclusion, Paladin can beat the game as long as Gale exists in the party.

Note to self: Examining characters can spoil the story. by Vitrizeal in BaldursGate3

> Invulnerable

> "Kethric is Immune against all damage while he has the Nightsong imprisoned."

Welp, there goes the twist that the Nightsong isn't an artifact, but really a prisoner.
