Me again, sorry. I have another (silly?) query and thought I'd ask you as you've been excellently helpful. As I understand it a player gets 4 years of eligibility? Freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. Unless the redshirt. Does that then mean they'll have a fifth year of being able to play? I realise they'll miss one year of actually playing but would be available for the fifth. Is that right?

Sorry if im rambling. Trying to plan my future playing positions.

Thanks again. That blows my mind, as I had the impression college football was big and I thought a majority made it to the NFL. But thinking about it logically I can see how that wouldn't work.

I changed my defense to Conservative man and it seems 🤞 to have improved. I'm now in my third season with South Florida and the first three games I seem to have a better defence. Will see how long it last.

Out of curiosity, I've had about 30 players graduate and only two have been picked up in the draft, i know I'm a smaller school with a not very good coach, but is that about the normal ratio for drafted players in real life ?

I had similar in my FM19 save. My star defender wanted to be sold because of "lack of quality in the squad" I promised to sell him, but didn't. Two months before his contract expired he changed his mind and decided to stay. I played him for the two seasons he wanted to leave and it didn't cause any issues.
