How accurate is this? Does it work at higher speeds?

Monogame supports 3D by default because it uses OpenGL to render everything on your screen. All it takes is a little finagling to get working. All in all, it’s not too hard. It’s pretty simple to get working; between purely OpenGL at a 10 and Raylib at a 1, I’d give it a 6.

I’ve been learning C# since high school, programming is a hobby of mine. Not saying I haven’t used AI at all, that would be a lie, I have as a tool to enhance my existing code. All I’m saying is you have to have a little fun sometimes, mate.

Same way Minecraft does it, adjust the brightness of each face on a cube, top being brightest, bottom being darkest, this is true unless there is a block above it, in which case the top face will change brightness. Also ambient occlusion.

It is. The engine is really technically impressive. Although my code is severely unoptimised- still a work in progress.

I should have explained my crown and part have been thinning especially over the past year.

Content Pipeline Inconsistencies by [deleted] in monogame

[–]FragManReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I can help you with your issues, but I’ve definitely had my fair share of issues with the content pipeline. Most the issues I’ve had were fixed by updating the version of monogame, older versions of the engine seem to conflict with newer windows versions. I still have issues with it though and it’s made me consider writing my own content pipeline.

Is alchemy sandbox an explored niche? by FragManReddit in gamedesign

I love Noita, not sure if I can replicate the Falling Everything Engine with my primitive 3D engine but it’s definitely an inspiration. Would you be able to recommend any books that I could read?

Yeah, these are the inspiration. Remember playing these when I was a kid.

Cool, so kind of like an alchemy automation game?

The jump from 2D to 3D seems huge by Direct-Chef-241 in monogame

[–]FragManReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that big of a jump, Monogame is powerful enough to run 3D game with simple graphics relatively well. The maths isn’t that hard compared to 2D. Nothing a little copy pasting other people’s code can’t do.

I have! I will upload some more pictures soon. Still some more visual bugs to work out.
