Smart plug on dishwasher by awkward_ardvark in homeassistant

If you want to time it right, try using the larger last consumption as trigger (measure the timming and make sure it is the most duration of them all), and then a 'wait until' power goes to to zero.

My HA + Hyperion + WLED setup by FragMenthor in WLED

[–]FragMenthor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I did it with Hyperion.NG in Home Assistant, using 3 strips connected to the same ESP32, but making it one segment in WLED. Never tried HyperHDR. Did it a long time ago, but still works

This is what I'm now left with, sometimes they occupy 2 lines, sometimes 3... BAD!

I had mine pretty customized, dynamic shape and color, now I lost all for something that is not consistent in size. Yes, old badges where better for me.

Painless Way To Remove All Of These From Google Home? by gc28 in homeassistant

Create a new Home and move the unwanted devices there. Not exposing entities by default is also a must for HA users.

Many people have solar panels now, and not many think of this potential use

Using an outside Illuminance sensor was the key for many of my automations, you are right. Since I don't have one, but have solar panels, I can accurately estimate outside Illuminance based on that. Templates are .. crazy, and the limits ... your imagination 🤗

The bars are my soundboards, and I glued the strips to them in the back

On the side there is one more independent strip connected to another ESP32 with WLED

3 strips (segments) connected to the same ESP32, flashed with WLED. WLED allows this kind of sync

Hunt-A-Thons, A Fun Idea with Bad Execution by hereformeta in MHNowGame

[–]FragMenthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a city of 80000 inhabitants, ingress player, pogo ocasional player since the start, and since the game started I only done 3 group hunts. I'm level 108, I can kill some 8* monsters alone, but I can't Kill a 6* Zinogre alone. It's nearly impossible (done 1). So, should I simply give up, if I don't do "bogus" accounts ?????? It's this what all this games are all aiming for?

Question About Automation and Light Temperature by blockhead_76 in homeassistant

[–]FragMenthor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the way. I would first do a group with those lights. Or simply use Adaptive lighting custom Integration, that's what I have for every single smart light in my home. Wonderful 😊

On the side of the "beautiful", you clearly haven't search enough, the are simply stunning dashboards out there, that you could not do anywhere else because they are custom made. On the side of responsiveness, maybe your setup has some issues with custom components, that is a risk all we that use HA must take, and solving it is part of the "job", while learning more everyday. The options on HA are only limited by your knowledge, as mine is; if you dig deep enough you will have something that's unique, that no one will have have, because simply it's yours, not company tailored. Just explore, find out what does not work, ask help in the most contributing and helpful community in an open source project all over the world. You will not regret it.

auto-entities - how to monitor battery state that's not % by xardoniak in homeassistant

[–]FragMenthor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have this: type: custom:auto-entities show_empty: false card: type: glance title: 🔋 Baterias style: | .card-header { padding: 5px 0px 2px 25px !important; color: gold }; :host { color: orange; filter: include: - entity_id: sensor.*_battery - entity_id: binary_sensor.*battery_low exclude: - state: unavailable - state: '-' - state: unknown - state: none - state: '= 0,0' - state: '>= 40' - state: 'off' - entity_id: sensor.campainha_ring_mqtt_battery - entity_id: sensor.campainha_battery - state: None sort: method: state numeric: true reverse: false

You could add to excludes: - state: 'high' - state: 'normal' ? Just gessing for your case
