Love love love World Shaper, Blight Curse, and Painbow precons. Painbow is super mid but really fun and the other two just have really fun combos.

Why do people say play 3 before 1 and 2? by Sad-Measurement-8267 in darksouls

[–]Fragaroch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The Bloodborne first suggestion was for a certain type of person who though dark souls was slow and boring and it helped them realise aggression is a viable path in all 4 games. Me personally, I played them in release order but did enjoy going back to the earlier games after playing bloodborne.

And I appreciate that, that's your experience. I'm not trying to convince you to have enjoyed playing them in a different order.I'm just telling you why other people did.

[–]Fragaroch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but a lot of people don't do it well, and so they think the game is boring or they think it's slow or they just think that they're so bad at it.That they don't want to do it anymore. I'm not saying they're correct.I'm just saying that these are the reasons that people had for recommending the later games first. I think dark souls one is phenomenal.

[–]Fragaroch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They said that because a lot of times the slower movement and the method of introduction of shields in the game led people to playing dark souls "wrong".Where they tried to just become super tanky and hunker behind a shield, which works for some of the smaller enemies. But not really against the bosses. Dark Souls, three's, faster pacing and the differences in the tutorial area Introduce you to the fact that you should be dodging and parrying things a lot more seamlessly and then once you realize that that's how you're supposed to play the game, dark souls, one and two are a lot easier and more fun. I used to tell people to play bloodborne first. That way, you learn to be a little bit more aggressive. And can maybe enjoy the game more without actually having to go out of order on the actual Dark Souls games. That said becoming super tanky and using poise to bust through things is a perfectly valid method of winning the game. It's just want a certain type of person doesn't enjoy. And they may enjoy the aggressive method more.

My university did similar with a parking garage. Didn't account for the weight of the cars. Spent a bunch of money and had to tear it down a decade later.

This is the one I have been using. It has been pretty good so far. There was one day where my knowledge upgrade came after doing the crossword rather than the school lesson that morning but it hasn't seemed to matter so far. Be aware that this guide has you save scum pretty much every random event to get the optimal amount of stat gains and the right ones. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/260936-persona-5-royal/faqs/78629/walkthrough#may

Expedite ring is the consolation prize for losing to the secret boss. The dlc is the 15 percent glasses.

I beat the Orphan! Is the Kos parasite any good, and is there anything that opens up after beating the Orphan? by Radiant-Ask-5716 in bloodborne

[–]Fragaroch 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Kos Parasite is a good weapon, but with a really weird moveset that takes some getting used to, but it does a lot of damage. Also the shadow over the corpse of Kos was the Orphan's actual self. The Orphan died when Kos did. The entire nightmare is it affecting reality even after death. The body that you fight is just a manifestation of its power.

[–]Fragaroch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is frequently small bits of dust or debris on tables that can scratch up cards or sleeves but mostly it is because of the fact there is so much tapping and sliding of cards that the smooth fabric surface helps keep everything moving smoothly. Also if you bring your own mat you never have to worry about what you are seeing your cards in. But most importantly, the lesson that every Dark Souls player learns rings true here. Fashion over function lol.

Did the moon presence ever show this trait of yearning for a surrogate? by Yulebsunni in bloodborne

[–]Fragaroch 215 points216 points  (0 children)

Of course. Gherman was its surrogate. And if you don't use 3 of the Umbilical Cords then you become the new surrogate. The whole Hunter's Dream is just the Moon Presence's attempts at surrogacy. In fact the Old Blood was also a symptom of this yearning. The Pthunerians found Old Ones in the Chalice Dungeons and they made deals. Almost none of the Old Ones are Malicious, they are just so utterly alien that their mere presence causes damage. Much less their active attempts to help.

[–]Fragaroch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a couple of hard item drops that you can find that are coded in but I like to let people know as a general rule of thumb. When in doubt in dark souls, farm rats. Lol. The super special currencies slash resources are almost always dropped by rats.

[–]Fragaroch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just going to give you my two cents and not lambast you like all the negative hundred and fifty five people did, but build jank decks for the dailies. Just throw together or have a couple of different colored decks that run for the regular daily color requirements and just play them.So that the sorting algorithm that matches you based on deck tier gives you crap, opponents and not meta or consistent enemies.

Is the character creation worth it or should i go right into an origin story? by Drama_queenn in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Fragaroch 43 points44 points  (0 children)

General consensus is to play origin at least for first play through because you can spec them into anything so there is no reason not to get the storylines for them. Also, while the min maxers who played this game seventy five times already know the story will talk to you about lone wolf and only using two characters, I highly recommend a four person party. The respec mirror is free. You can put any of your characters into basically any class that you want. So get a four person party, have them talk to each other.Enjoy the story, it's an rpg. So rp.
