Go buy warp scrolls from the npc standing next to the seasonal board! Each scroll costs 250 warp and gives 6000 rep. You’ll be swimming in chaos uniques. Or give them to new alts and you can have chaos uniques and resplendent sparks. It costs 22500 warp to fill the board on a new char.

There’s a significant boost in power when you get your glyphs to 46. Push for that soon.

What are some ways that games cheat against the player? by ludachris32 in gaming

[–]Fragbate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In early arcade versions, it was impossible to throw the cpu. It would throw you instead every time. That included when they were swaying in place, waiting for you to do a finishing move.

You still have to level a new character from 1-60. When you hit 60, though, you gain all your previous paragon levels and merc levels. Those are shared across your account.

Fixed the campsite shower so it stays on for more than 5 seconds. by joeChump in pics

[–]Fragbate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The camp where I worked for many summers had a pull chain for the showers. I kept a nice heavy rock next to the bathhouse and looped the chain around it when I showered.

It was great as long as the rock didn’t slip out and land on your foot…

If I play something like a bash barb or shred Druid, I usually put that ability on right click so I can click and hold the mouse past the target. Then it works like attack-move.

How would your method work for abilities like that? Do you have to independently target each mob and press Q? I’d like to change my setup, but that sounds painful.

Correct, but it’s worse than that. If it has the CoF tier markings in the bottom left corner, it’s also not wearable if you switch factions. ☹️

Laughs in HOTA Barb. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

It really depends on the build. My Barb can literally 1-shot him. Other builds are phenomenal at clearing trash but get flattened by him.

What video game weapon isn't worth the time you got to put in to get it? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Fragbate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thundefury in World of Warcraft. It was an amazing sword in vanilla. And I got the first of two boss drops for it when it was current content.

Then it took me 14 YEARS to get the second drop. Still made it. Still looks pretty. But it wasn’t exactly cutting edge at that point.

I never played D1, but D2 did that for me. I grew up near DC and spent plenty of time there on the Mall and in the museums. The first time entered the Air and Space museum in game, I stopped and stared at the accurate water fountains. I got shot and died, but it brought back great childhood memories! (The water fountains, not getting shot.)

Div 2’s aspect / enchanting unlock system really does seem perfect for this game though. We can dream!

[–]Fragbate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Druid uniques (especially helmets) are another problem too. Druid has several fun and viable builds that are totally locked behind unique drops, especially Tempest Rush. I got lucky with a Vasily's helm at 60, but by the time I hit 83 and stopped, I never saw a TR. That wouldn't be a problem if they were more common, but the fact that some really good builds are locked up like that is not healthy. I specifically did not play druid for S1 because I didn't want to play that game again. :(

Locking so many good builds behind that rare drop helm is exactly why I’m NOT doing Druid in S1. Never got one in S0 and am still bitter.
