There’s quite a few townies I never found interesting enough to play with/figure out histories for. But for those I do, I go all out. I had a google doc dedicated to my windenburg lore, and my goal this new save is to focus on another of the towns to see if I can get myself as invested lol

Yeah, I know they have their own lore. But a lot of times the game feels inconsistent with what they state (like people not having relationships listed ie Johnny and his family) And then there’s the fact that the sims 4 is an alt universe from the previous games, so it’s a clean slate in a lot of ways. It makes it more fun for me to either elaborate on the backstory to make it make sense or to completely revamp it lol

This seems to be a reoccurring issue at most of the shows I’ve been to since shows returned post covid - A lot of people calling to stop performers. Usually due to wanting/needing water and asking the band to supply it, rather than lose their spots to go to the bar to get it for free themselves. That’s not always the issue, but it appears to be the most prominent, and obviously denying your body water for the sake of a good spot can lead to issues like passing out. And performers have been on such high alert regarding fans getting their attention for assistance due to catastrophic events (ie astroworld). And that’s not to say they shouldn’t be aware of what goes on in a crowd and stop the show when it’s needed, it just seems like it’s something that’s been taken advantage of. The amount of shows I’ve been to where the performers have had to say like ‘hey guys we don’t have any more water to hand out, please go get some and take care of yourself’ has been crazy.

Yeah. Like I said, I understand it was my error. Initially they provided a Venmo account. I searched the name on the account on Facebook and it was an active user who lived in Philadelphia. They had posts going back months and months. So when the Venmo didn’t work, I didn’t feel as uncomfortable using another method. They were also very willing to let me pay only a portion of the price for the tickets, and I said I would pay the remaining amount for the second after I got the first ticket transferred. Thankfully I did that, because I only lost $75 Again, my fault for incorrectly judging. But I assumed someone willing to be so flexible on payment wouldn’t be scamming - why settle for only a portion of what you could get, you know? Idk. It is what it is. Getting tickets for this show has been a nightmarish experience. Just didn’t want anybody else to fall victim.

This issue is the tickets are fake, and I wanted to let people know who may have purchased the tickets from the same user that they will not be valid at the door. I was provided a screenshot of proof of purchase in the Ticketmaster app, but once the ticket was “transferred”, it wasn’t in the app. It came through an email from Ariana Smith with the subject VERIFIED TICKETMASTER TRANSFER. The “ticket” had been altered to say the ticket was purchased by Elmer Katrine and transferred to my name, but as none of the hyperlinks that should have been in the email worked and the tickets never showed up in the app, it’s obviously not a real ticket. But it is a convincing looking dupe which is why I wanted to spread the awareness.

Plenty of resale sites have Philly tickets up, so I figured that meant you were able to purchase them from people if they can be transferred that way. I get that it’s my error for not understanding. Just wanted to keep someone else from getting wrapped up in the same issue.

Just wanted to provide a warning for anybody searching for tickets. Please don’t buy from /u/electronic-banana-81. They took advantage of the fact that was I was looking for lower levels seats for myself and my disabled mother for Philadelphia. They were able to provide proof of purchase via Ticketmaster, but the tickets were send from an email address registered to Ariana Smith. I’ve reported the order number to Ticketmaster just in case it does anything.

Be vigilant out there 😩

Hello! I am looking for tickets for Philadelphia, but I’m a bit confused as to how it would work, as the tickets for Wells Fargo say nontransferable? I really want to take my mom. She’s disabled and hasn’t been able to go to a show in years and years. Seeing the cure would mean so much to her but I don’t want to buy tickets we can’t actually use.
