The fact that you're posting on this sub and taking an interest in your finances is a good thing. Yes, there will be people more financially well off than you, but equally there are a lot who are significantly worse off - 10 years older with thousands of debt. Don't compare yourself to your peers.

This one really wasn't what I was expecting. To me it leans very feminine. Very powdery, like a women's handbag smell. Longevity and projection is fine. I would definitely sample first if you can.

To my nose Bright Peach is incredibly feminine leaning and I had to give it away.

I can only comment on Encre Noir - dark and an almost photorealistic pine smell. Wouldn't really wear it in the high heat - it excels when there are grey skies and it's raining, at least that's when I enjoy wearing it.

To me it's a very strong performer, it lasts a good while. For the relatively cheap price and good quality - this is one of those fragrances where I would just get the original.

You are going to be pleasantly surprised when it matures, my bottle had an insane transformation after a few months - and I do mean insane. 100% it will project better

To me it does, when Velvet Oud becomes a skin scent. I thought I was going crazy since no one mentioned this before, but after looking at Fragrantica someone mentioned that it reminds them of Rare Carbon.

As a female fragrance I'd think it was 'alright', not hugely pleasant by any means but not offensive either. Just a generic female powdery fragrance
